It's hard to find a restaurant where you can get breakfast, lunch, or dinner anytime, and have the food consistently be this good. The waitresses are always friendly, pleasant, and efficient. You can tell they work hard, but they still take the time to make you feel welcome. Our food comes out quickly and hot, which is especially nice when you're hungry! And the food is just delicious. The portions are generous--definitely enough to leave you satisfied--and the prices are very reasonable. In a time when restaurant prices seem to keep going up, it's wonderful to find a place where you can get a really good meal, a generous portion, great service, and still feel like you got your money's worth. Blue Grill has that special local, hometown feeling that is becoming harder and harder to find. It's the kind of place you want to support because the people are friendly, the food is good, and you know you're going to have a good experience. No proof that they were actually provided by such, but they definitely had the style. Staff were friendly, and the seating at the bar was comfortable. Realistically, I don't see myself going back any time soon, unless a group of people invite me to go. It is a bit of a trek from Gainesville, so going specifically to eat there is not in the cards.

For an entree, I had the Duke's Macaroni with Blackened Chicken (which they mixed in.) Quite delicious, but it did leave quite a lot of oil (over a tablespoon) in the plate.
