I have enjoyed Arthur's since they first opened in Rock Falls. After eating at the Dixon Arthur's,…read moreI have tried them all. They are consistently fresh, friendly and TASTY!! I always prefer the Work of Art sandwich. To me the bun, meat, shaved lettuce, and the horseradish mayo or mustard (not sure which) make the perfect sandwich. The pasta salad was good as always and I even got a baked potato with cheese and broccoli. Always good food. At all locations.

This is your standard Taco Bell. I looked at the menu board, and the Grilled Chicken Burrito…read moreCrunch Wrap looked really good, so I ordered one. Dang. Forgot the menu board looks around 3 times larger than the meal. I didn't go back for more, but noticed I could have got a combo and more food if I'd looked to the right side for the larger meals. They took my name, and a cup wasn't handed to me - it kind of went to the side of the counter. I apparently correctly guessed it was mine (nobody grabbed it away) and got a drink. The food arrived and I tried it. I had to put on their "Hot" sauce - it wasn't very spicy at all. The Root Beer tasted good. I did use the mens room, and it was clean and smelled clean.

This was hands down one of the worst fast-food experiences I've ever had. I went to Taco Bell…read moreexpecting a quick, simple meal, but it turned into a huge headache. First off, the staff seemed completely disorganized -- the person at the counter barely acknowledged me, and when I finally placed my order, it took forever to come out even though the place wasn't that busy. When I did get my food, it was a mess. The tacos were falling apart, half the items were missing from my bag, and what I did get was cold and looked like it had been thrown together with zero care. To make things worse, the beans and meat tasted off, and the burrito I ordered was literally half-empty -- just a little smear of filling and nothing else. I tried to politely ask about the missing items, but the employee acted like I was inconveniencing them and gave me major attitude. No apology, no attempt to make it right. On top of all that, the dining area was dirty -- tables hadn't been wiped down, trash was overflowing, and the drink station was sticky and gross. I don't usually write reviews, but this experience was so bad I had to. If this location doesn't get better management and staff who actually care, I don't see how they'll keep customers coming back. Definitely won't be returning anytime soon

Napkins in upside down. They run these places with too few people. It's not their fault. It's the management. Good staff. Lots of smiles…read moreClean restaurant. Clean bathrooms (both gender neutral, the further one back is the former mens room) that smelled good and not like other fast food places in the area which smell like waste products. So what about the FOOD? Like other people, I like Jimmy Johns sandwiches - the Hunters Club in particular, but it's so large, I went for a Vito (#5) with peppers instead. The bread was fresh, and the sandwich was well-made. The Dr. Pepper from the fountain was really good. For parking, there are spots right in front, but the distance from the street to the spots makings getting out....interesting. Instead, go to the right, circle around the building, and park on the left side of building (diagonal parking) so it's less fun to get out. Subs so fast you freak - I was the 4th order in, and had a total wait time of around 4 minutes.

I started with an order of their chicken fingers, 4 pieces dipped in Honey Barbeque Sauce, with a Buffalo dipping sauce. They came with an order of fries which were served hot, along with two slices of garlic toast. The chicken was hot and tender, and well-dipped in the Honey Barbecue sauce. The drink machine has an icemaker on the right side. It took around 30 seconds for the ice to get up and start dispensing into my cup. Perhaps the shop needs to prime the machine before the lunch rush came in - I saw another patron excited that the ice came out quickly, noting it usually doesn't. Hint Hint. This is a typical DQ. The shop was clean, but again, the Mens Room (this seems to be a Dixon fast food shop trend) smelled bad, and the urinal was really nasty. Those discs of sanitizer that go in there are supposed to be replaced monthly - the one that was in there had turned BLACK for heavens sake - it's supposed to be PINK. Service was prompt, but it was hard to hear the counter staff over the background noise - I had to ask him to repeat himself a few times. All in all, the food was good, the mens room needs to be deep cleaned, and the service was good.

Summary: Clean, new restaurant…read more Good service. Good food served hot and fresh. I dropped in for lunch on my way home, and Arbys got the nod. The shop is very clean, which I appreciate. The bathrooms were spotless and smelled pleasant. Someone cares. I decided to go with Arby's Wagyu Burger (which per the sign on the window was 51% Wagyu and 49% ground beef). It was served hot, made fresh, and tasted great. The crinkle cut fries were good, but I still miss my potato cakes (Arbys Corporate - Do you get this yet?) I also had a drink, and the drink machine worked just fine. Pretty hard to complain, and others at the restaurant were ringing the "good food" bell (to the right of the door on the north side) to agree. In, out and done fast too.
