First impressions when you walk in are average - kind of tired to a degree, with the staff running in and out to provide food to people waiting in the drive up and in the restaurant itself. This is a bit confusing, but it worked. They have order number markers for the table, but don't use them, which isn't very efficient since you have to remember who ordered what. Maybe consider that. I ordered their Famous Star cheeseburger with regular fries vs. curley fries, and a small drink. It took around 4 minutes from the order until the food arrived at my table. The drink machines were clean, and the ketchup pump worked. I had to ask for salt - the fries needed some. The burger was Hardee's classic, flame broiled, and tasted good. The toppings were fresh which was appreciated. The fries were just okay. Lots of old Hardee's pictures on the walls, including when burgers cost $0.15 (that was a while ago) and old restaurants and versions made for something to look at, ambiance wise. Service was polite but seemed harried. Not a bad meal.

For parking, there are spots right in front, but the distance from the street to the spots makings getting out....interesting. Instead, go to the right, circle around the building, and park on the left side of building (diagonal parking) so it's less fun to get out. Subs so fast you freak - I was the 4th order in, and had a total wait time of around 4 minutes.

Originally, our bill came out to $41.08 after tax, but there was a card option for $47.34 and a cash option for $45.97. Why are they charging an extra fee for cash? Anyway, 3.25% of $41.08 comes out to $1.35, so my total should have been $42.42. Instead, I was charged $47.34. I chose to leave instead of arguing with the staff member. After leaving, I did the calculations and realized they charged me a 15.25% card fee. I never carry cash, so I used my card. When I asked about the markup, I was denied an answer and kept getting cut off while trying to speak. The employee I spoke with kept saying, "it's just a few bucks," over and over again. This establishment sucks. They're ripping their customers off for horrible food.
