I originally went to Coopa Creations to get a tragus piercing. The girl did an amazing job and it was an awesome time. It's been about a week since then and I have had no complications. Earlier this morning the front ball of the piercing fell off and was nowhere to be found. The girl at Coopa is only there on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I live close to good and evil so I stopped in to see if they had a replacement and could fix it for me. There was only two people there, and one of them was working on a tattoo. The other was not doing anything, and when I said what I needed he seemed like he did not want to do it and asked the other guy to. The guy tattooing said he was busy and he would appreciate it if he could do it. I took a seat and waited ten minutes for him to set up a room. I understand I was a walk in appointment, but he went out to smoke and was talking to people. It almost seemed like he was procrastinating seeing me. He finally came in and reeked of cannabis. He was looking at it and tried on the ball, in which it did not fit. He then did this three more times. He kept trying different piercings in which nothing would fit. He said he knew what he needed but could not find it. He got so frustrated that he was shouting fuck repeatedly. He then yelled for the guy who was tattooing and said he could not find the piece he needed. The other guy stood up from where he was working, grabbed the right piece and gave it to him immediately. The guy still seemed frustrated and angry. He was shaking when trying to put the ball back on. He was pulling at the piercing aggressively trying to maneuver my ear, knowing I told him it was a fresh piercing. I had tears in my eyes when he finally got it. He did not treat me like a person. It was so painful and that thought never crossed his mind. The other guy tattooing apologized for his anger and didn't make me pay for the jewelry ball replacement. I am now writing this a couple hours later, and my piercing that had no complications prior is now swollen, throbbing, and bleeding non-stop. An easy fix was extremely complicated and handled unprofessionally. I wouldn't recommend anything about this place. I just felt so uncomfortable the whole time and now I am suffering the consequences of someone's carelessness. I am sorry again, I know reviews can harm businesses but I think people should know this about the staff of this place before going in for a body modification.

It was late when I had this done but I was not expecting to be there for almost 5 hours. He was getting tired and kids were running in and out of the shop. I'm assuming they were his children. I think getting a tattoo completed at almost 11:00 at night is way too late. There was no indication that this tattoo would ever take that long. The worst part of it is that the tattoo ended up infected and when I went back to the shop I was told it's because I wore jeans and it rubbed against the tattoo. So all I could assume from that point on is that all the men that go in there and get tattoos on their legs must wear skirts? This was the second tattoo I got done there. I should have realized after the first one not to go back but they gave me a really good excuse about why the first one blew out. Knowing what I know now, many years later I realized it was because it was the tattoo artist mistake and not just because my skin doesn't accept red ink. I have since become established with an amazing artist and every one of the artists at the shop she works at laugh at the idea that he told me my body does not accept red ink and that's why it blew out. Lesson learned, unfortunately it is one that will be on my body forever. I guess I should say too that will be on my body forever. One of them is unseen because it is up by the nape of my neck but the other one is on my leg and since I am so unhappy with it I have never worn anything that would show it. I keep it hidden at all times.

If that wasn't annoying enough he then proceeded to smoke while we were in this room to the point where felt like the place was getting hard to breath. NOW FOR THE TATTOO I wanted a very simple angel face and wing design that I found on the headstone, it turned out like a South Park version of a baby angel Hitler. There is a lot more I could go on and on but I think you get my point. After paying for this tattoo despite how I felt about it I now have to pay all over again to get it touched up and fixed cause there's no way I would go back there to get it fixed.

My experience: I have had multiple piercings done by Caleb my conch and both nipples. I honestly couldn't be happier the advice he gave for healing and aftercare. He was thorough and the shop had a premade card to go home, it included all post care instructions. My nipple piercings are perfectly straight and the bar selection was spot on. He was extremely professional and kind and made me feel comfortable during the entire process. (To add some context, I had one inverted nipple that he was able to still pierce and it honestly solved that issue forever. He mentioned generally he wont do nipple piercings on inverted nipples but if its not severe it may still be possible. Get a consultation if your concerned.) My conch was done with a hoop which I switched to a labret to heal and now that its healed I put a clicker ring in. The environment was clean the materials used were top notch and sterile. There was privacy when needed. Props to them for doing it all with passion for the art. Planning to go back to him for a few more piercings very soon. (rook & anti tragus & maybe a forward helix) Wanting more is what reminded me to write a review! Hope this helps someone decide to go get that piercing they have been thinking about!
