Hard Rock Cafe Malaga has been open just 2 weeks as of the writing of this review. It has a great location in the port. There is a major parking garage 20 yards away, so it is easy to visit the cafe either as a cruise ship visitor or by car.
In every aspect, it is a typical Hard Rock with the same menu items. They have a lot of employees. It appears perhaps a little chaotic. One of the big bosses was visiting and employees had to stop what they had been doing and clean and polish areas (bar) and straighten chairs just perfectly.
Service was fast and efficient. They are not yet a part of the Hard Rock system electronically yet, so if you are a HRC Rewards member, you will not get credit for this visit (as of this writing). The appetizers were good. They didn't seem of know how to make guacamole as there were just huge chunks of avocado in a small container. I like avocado, so fine with me, but maybe not everyone.
The Rock Shop is well stocked and the employees working there are super helpful and friendly. Everyone had excellent English language, and I was appreciative of this, since I don't speak Spanish (& never expect people to speak English in Spain).
This will be a great location to hang in summer with the abundant outdoor seating! read more
