One Night in Bangkok Spicy Shrimp €13.75

I don't know if it's a European thing not to refill drinks but i definitely was forgotten about after my entree was served. I sucked on ice the entire meal hopping i wouldn't choke. I love it. Nothing is worse than having an empty glass and no server in sight. I drink a lot with my meals, and quickly, so a server gets extra points with me if they refill my drink before I have to ask. By the way, most every restaurant tells servers to do this. It's pretty crappy for you to tip them less for doing something they are trained to do.

I don't know about you, but sometimes it's nice to have a good staple restaurant you're already familiar with when you're traveling somewhere new, especially if that place has an entirely different cuisine than what you're used to. Hard Rock is one of these places. There are tons of locations all over the globe, and they all usually serve the same menu, which is standard American fare. My sister and I went to this Hard Rock because we just wanted regular American food, and we were not disappointed with our experience. There was a wait when we came here of about 40 minutes, but since we had nothing else to do on our last night in Madrid, we didn't mind. The hostesses were nice enough to let us know we could wait at the bar, where we snagged some drinks and looked through the menu before we sat down at a regular table. The bartender was very friendly and the service was quick. When we got to our table, our server took our order and was very gracious and welcoming. We started with the spinach artichoke dip which was actually quite tasty with regular tortilla chips. The chips were nothing to write home about, but the dip itself was creamy and full of spinach and a good amount of artichoke. Definitely a good choice for an appetizer. We ordered burgers for dinner -- I got the Legendary Burger and my sister ordered the BBQ burger. Both were very good. My burger had a good amount of melted cheese on it as well as an onion ring, which was a great addition to the burger. My sister's burger had GREAT flavor with the onion mix on top and was overall just really a good choice. Both burgers were cooked perfectly and served with fries, which were okay. I had a good experience here. Service was quick, friendly and efficient and exactly what I needed on my last night in town.

This place is full of amazing collection of musical instruments used by the legends of music. Tge food is pretty dam good. From the salads to burgers to Wings. There is not a bad thing on the menu.

Took very long time for seating though there were free tables outside for more than 15min (we were first in line) Then we waited for the waitress more than 20 min - eventually, the waitress that told us she will not serve us did served us... with very poor service

The Hard Rock Cafe contained a lot of memorabilia from various artists, Madonna being one of them. Upon arriving, there was a gift shop to the left of the hostess stand. I opted to order something to drink and then look around the cafe. It does not seem as though it is required to patronize the cafe in order to look around. I was told by the manager that the cafe has 3 floors and I took it upon myself to look around every floor. The variety of items that were hanging on the walls ranged from guitars to clothing worn during concerts. The food prices were in line with other Hard Rock Cafes which means that it is fairly expensive and there is nothing unique about it.

It's been closed for a long time. The information that was not updated in time cost us tens of euros in fares.

I think they mean "Bar Rooster."…read more In any event ... Stopped in here on New Year's Day around 8:30 and the place was dead. For that reason, I can say the service was great. Everyone must have been hung over from the night before. Or still sleeping. The die hard NYE revelers stay out until about 7 AM in this country. Not me. I can't hang. Overall, the cocktail menu has about 20 of the usual suspects: martini, strawberry daiquiri, mai tai, manhattan, sidecar, etc. No prices in the menu but expect to pay about 7,25 each. In other words, about half the price you'd pay at a cocktail bar in New York, so a major bargain for me. The sidecar was delicious, as was the whiskey sour. While not explicitly clear in the menu, this place will either create cocktails for you or let you create your own. Just ask. Desperately wanting paella across the street at La Barraca, the unoccupied waiter took the time to run across the street to check on availability, then again to make a reservation. Excellent customer service, though he was taken aback at my gesture of a small tip for his efforts, which he reluctantly accepted. Bottom line is there really aren't that many bars in Madrid dedicated specifically to cocktails, despite the size of the city. Consider this place a rarity. Other: Very classy decor. Cool music. Chill vibes. Free wifi zone. No food.
