The problem was, once I arrived on site, I got a look at the cable and noticed that it was potentially a little shorter than what I was looking for and asked if it would be okay if I brought my PC in so I could eyeball the length in front of my tower, which I just happened to have on me in my vehicle. The gentleman told me no problem. The problem was that when I came back to the store, I was greeted by two other men who started telling me sardonically "don't you have some place else to do this? Just buy the cable and take it back." I responded essentially just saying that I had asked the other employee if this was okay and that it was just easier rather than buying a cable, going to the car and checking, and potentially returning it. The man with no mask and the stained t-shirt ultimately just kept repeating himself asking me if I had some other place to do this at and that I shouldn't be doing it there, et cetera while the others stood around. I found them to be incredible unprofessional and overly aggressive. I told him I would just go to another store and walked out. You would think for a store so filthy and sparse, their customer service would be exceptional but I will not be returning to this store and will only speak of this incident where I felt incredibly put off. I found they acted unnecessarily aggressively and unprofessional.

I kicked myself all the way to Dartmouth to Mac East. Never been there before, but I had no choice. The prognosis was poor. A wet logic board is never good. The data storage is attached to the logic board. My desperation made me ignore any poor reviews. SO happy I did. The folks at Mac East (Kathleen and Barry) were friendly and professional in how they explained the many steps needed to try to revive a wet MacBook. They under-promised and - WOW - did they OVER-deliver! I a week they called to say they had been successful. The Mac was working and the data saved AND backed-up. Honestly, I would have paid them $1000. They charged me $85. $85! Mac East turned my worst computer experience into my best. TEN STARS!

I saw the $69 all-in-one photo printer I wanted (yay sale) which did not have a display model above the tag. Fortunately the salesman searched the store for me and actually found one. The only caveat I had with the whole experience was the usb cables, for $25. I got one from Sears instead for $11. Overall, I think that this Source is a good place to shop when they have sales, with staff who are genuinely friendly and helpful.

I brought my Microsoft surface pro 3 there 2 years ago when the screen was smashed and did not have the $275 to get it fixed at the time and left it there. Fast forward 2 years I go in and ask them about my tablet... and sure enough they still have it there and are willing to help me in any way possible. Even advised that they could get all my photos/documents off the device for only $50 if I couldn't afford the screen fix yet. Needless to say they are extremely helpful and listen to your problems, and are quick to fix your devices.
