Don't get upsold, don't get off-sold (a new term I made up for getting sold to something other than what you planned on), and frankly, don't get lost in there. The more time you spend outside of your original focus, the more likely you are to come home with something you didn't want or need. 3) Have friends with a truck waiting and ready. Home delivery is always such a gong show that you're much better off getting it done yourself. And by yourself, I clearly mean by your friends with big muscles and ample vehicular storage. 4) Ignore your impulses. Sure, you just bought a fancy new tab and there are all kinds of gadgets and add-ons and fanciness that's catching your eye on the way to the cash. ABORT. DISENGAGE. RETURN TO THE HOMELAND. I kicked myself all the way to Dartmouth to Mac East. Never been there before, but I had no choice. The prognosis was poor. A wet logic board is never good. The data storage is attached to the logic board. My desperation made me ignore any poor reviews. SO happy I did. The folks at Mac East (Kathleen and Barry) were friendly and professional in how they explained the many steps needed to try to revive a wet MacBook. They under-promised and - WOW - did they OVER-deliver! I a week they called to say they had been successful. The Mac was working and the data saved AND backed-up. Honestly, I would have paid them $1000. They charged me $85. $85! Mac East turned my worst computer experience into my best. TEN STARS!

My computer worked better than ever, until now, but nothing to do with his work, but more the fault of Microsoft. I run Windows 10 which I find fine, BUT Microsoft decided I need Windows 11 and installed it without my authority. Many of my apps dont work with !! so I tried to revert back to Windows 10 which I have done before. This time I got the blue screen of death upon startup, and seemingly no way out without my Authorizing Key, which of course I didn't have. so again I called Dean. As usual he performed his magic and was able to located them very promptly and again I'm up and running with Windows 10. Dean is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. I am ok on computer knowledge be he is a "Computer Guru" and I would highly recommend him if you want things done right.
