This laundromat has gradually deteriorated over the years. Roughly 1/3 of washing machines, including one entire row, have been out of order long term. Most of the dryers work fine, including all of the dryers along the back wall. Roughly 30% of the overhead lights are out of order, some are damaged beyond repair. A code is required to use the restroom, obtained by texting the staff via a posted number. The restroom was clean and well stocked. $3.00 for a basic wash is a good value for Juneau. Dryers are a bit pricier: 50 cents for the first two minutes, 25 cents for each additional two minutes, which comes to $4.00 for 30 minutes. The business needs to repair or replace what is a significant percentage of their machines. That being said, the available machines work well, and the establishment is clean. A simple wash and dry: I had 5 loads. Most of the washers were 3 dollars, one was five dollars and one was almost 9. I spent nearly 35 dollars. I did enquire about why it costs 25cents for 2 minutes of drying. No response. I will not be giving them my business from this day forward. Total rip off. read more

Just a brief look, there's quite a few machines in disrepair, last washing must start at least one hour prior to closing. Their largest dryer takes $0.25 for three minutes. The place is allowed to run down, no pride of ownership here. Top load washer USD 3, front load washers USD 4.5, 5.25; dryers USD 0.5 for the first two minutes, USD 0.25 for each additional two minutes. There are two shower stalls, USD 1.75, towel rental USD 1, towel deposit USD 2. This place is a relatively expensive option if compared to a coin operated laundry from an apartment building, but if the temperature isn't high enough, there's no guarantee that the dryer's temperature would be any higher here. There are a few machines (5%) out of order. Counted the standard washers at 24 with 3 out of order. Place is reasonably clean and the facilities are complete. A industrial sink, several sorting tables, restrooms and 2 showers. There were several industrial sized washers and dryers. Since we were during the day, I have no idea if they close early. It is pricey, but this is Juneau; everything is pricey. read more

Reasonable prices for Juneau. Building is clean. Friendly staff. Before noon is usually empty.

I go to Squires Laundry now. Squires Laundry is very clean and safe. I washed clothes here in the past, but I found it to be run down and dirty. read more

Only two dryers on the far left actually dry. And they close up to an hour early and open an hour late. I have had my clothes locked inside overnight and had to wait until 9am to pick them up. read more
