I took a shower for $3, time wasn't bad, I was able to wash my hair twice, condition, and give myself a good scrub head to toe. I suggest to not take your time, or have an extra $3. I had to wait for someone who was in at 7 am. The washers are ok performance wise, but smell moldy because people don't let the doors open to air dry. ***the biggest surprise -the dryers. It costs 25cents/minute for the 2 big dryers, while the smaller ones will charge 25 cents for the first 2 min, then 25 cents for 3 additional minutes. The dryers say 25, but the surprise is total. $10 wasn't enough to dry 2 loads of clothes. I left with dump things, because I didn't had enough money with me. read more

Not bad as laundromats go. A more or less convenient walk from Auke Bay harbor. Laundry is all modern front loaders (10 including a large capacity machine) ranging from $2.50-$5.50/wash. 10 modern dryers including a large capacity dryer, all fed with quarters. Three minutes per quarter. There are clean tables and a few chairs and it's pretty clean in the laundry area. It has a soap vending machine and a change maker and the whole place is well lit and supposedly monitored by security camera. There are two toilet rooms and two shower rooms. Showers are $2/8 minutes, which I guess is a little bit cheaper than those in the Harbormaster building. When I was here on a Sunday afternoon, the women's bathroom was out of toilet paper and paper towels (I used the one in the bar upstairs). The showers seemed kind of skanky, with a cigarette butt in one (who does that?). There is no staff on site. read more

Highway robbery!! In all my life of coin-op laundromats, this is the worst!! Yes, the space appears clean but, after spending nearly $40!!! for 3 loads and I still having to take home wet laundry!! It's near impossible to focus on the positive. At $0.25 per minute for the dryers you'll need to spend $15 to dry 1 load of laundry! That's not even adding the $3.50 minimum per load for wash! Seriously! Nearly $20!! For 1 load of laundy start to finish! Laundry is a basic necessity and it seems that customers are being penalized for not having access to a washer & dryer at home. If you have to go to a laundromat this is the best in town. It's clean and safe. The owner is there a lot and he is very helpful and polite. They also have showers, I thought they were very clean too. I would recommend this place to anyone. Right next to Gonzos. read more
