West Marine carries a nice selection of boating gear, clothing and other accessories for water activities. The store is not just limited to boating and water gear; West Marine also sells bikes, coolers, grills, luggage, and outdoor dog gear. We purchased a dog life preserver so that our furry friend could join us on our boat trips. We had no clue what type of dog preserver we should purchase, but the staff was so helpful in suggesting the best one for our dog. We also purchased some dry bags to keep our electronics dry on the boat and my husband purchased some linen shirts. The store had such a nice clothing selection that I think I will be back to purchase some clothing for our next tropical getaway. (For some odd reason it is impossible to find a swimsuit in Tampa in November even though it feels like summer 80% of the year.) Will definitely be back to West Marine soon!

Yoshi, the manager was amazing, helping me to fit an outdoor kitchen in my kind of strange lanai space. The things that really stood out were the lifetime warranty on the grill and double side burner. And the amazing countertops. They are so much more contemporary, strong and beautiful than granite, which is what all the contractors kept trying to sell me. I purchased a beautiful kitchen at a great price and I can't wait to start grilling in paradise!

All the negative reviews turned out to be correct!…read more Delivery was scheduled for this morning, just got an email without an ability to respond canceling delivery with no explanation and no new date. And of course they are not answering their phone. This was after calling an email confirming delivery was on. Plus, going to the store yesterday to make sure delivery with the product we ordered was still on. I guess the fun has just begun - canceling, demanding a full refund and protesting the credit card charge. MLet the games begin.

The Manager, Cody is an idiot who doesn't follow the letter of his contracts. We bought a freezer there and it went out right after we paid it off. According to their contract if it went out during the contract they would repair or replace it, but the warrantee continues for 60 after payoff and they gave us a loaner until ours was fixed. Then he started charging us for the loaner, we contacted his area manager who cut the contract down to 6 months from 12 because Cody had disposed of our freezer because he couldn't get parts, and turned our "loaner" into a purchase contract. The 6 months have expired but he wants to keep charging us for it. Don't ever go to this store unless you want to be screwed out of more money than you were supposed to have spent.

Despite the delay, when I got to the register, the salesman assisting me was friendly and took his time to help me out. Parking is a little challenging, but it is available. If it's the busy time of the day, you might have to park further away and walk a little. All in all, this is a great business that you should give a shot because you won't be disappointed.
