It had such an inviting atmosphere and everything was easy to find. Unfortunately, since the recent renovations, the layout has become cluttered and confusing, making it difficult to locate items. The new setup of the cash registers only adds to the disorganization. I really wish they would consider going back to the old layout. After the chaotic experience I had yesterday, I'm honestly not sure I want to return.

One of the staffers mentioned that if the boxes are still pristine after the move, that Home Depot could possibly refund for any boxes that were returned in good condition. I didn't know that. It's close by and convenient. It has all the basic needs for home, store or a move.

As I walked by the paint desk, the gentleman behind the counter greeted me pleasantly. I didn't need help since I could see the sign that said "Spray Paint", so I returned the greeting and kept walking. Found exactly what I needed. Headed to the Christmas decoration section and drooled over garland until my husband found me. He was hoping to find a smaller pack of blades, but the saw is older so it was more limited. Never the less he found what he needed. We used the self scan, the cashier seemed to have difficulty with technology as she had to type in my date of birth a few times (yep, you get carded for spray paint), but she was friendly enough. We were in and out in about ten minutes. Good enough for me!

While shopping for plumbing equipment during our complete bathroom remodel project, we worked with…read moreBrian Glick at their Walled Lake location. I wanted a shower configuration that Brian had never dealt with previously, so he consulted with his internal plumbing staff and confirmed that in fact the configuration I wanted was feasible and he even gathered up the necessary equipment to demonstrate and confirm that it was exactly what I wanted to achieve. After the contractor completed the installation the configuration did in fact work exactly as what I had in mind. After the job was completed we found that the high temperature safety override feature on our Hansgrohe Thermostatic Shower Control Valve was not operational, and was not related the to the configuration mentioned above. Working with Brian I provided a video demonstrating the issue, which he then used to work with his manager to diagnose the problem and create a unique video for us, demonstrating what they believed to be the issue and how to correct it. I will use this video to send to my contractor and his plumber to hopefully resolve my issue. Excellent customer service!

Service desk wrote me a ticket for $47.00+ to pay for up front and self serve pickup in 'shed TR 29, upstairs'. Went through the back-of-store gate arm looking for TR 29 (there isn't one) however, I knew where vinyl siding is stored from a past purchase. After searching 30 minutes for the SKU number to match my PO, finally got some help from a Menards warehouseman forklift operator. 15 minutes more searching resulted in out of stock explanation. Back through the exit gatekeeper, signing electronic receipt that I received zero product and Customer Service for refund. Now, they want me to pay a 'restocking fee' of 25%! The third service representative was a manager who waived the fee. 1.5 hours wasted; left with no product, only frustration. So long to Menards for building materials!
