Super frustrated with Menards right now! After witnessing how they treated my father after he has…read morespent upwards of $10K with them over the last 10 months. He is currently in the home stretch of a complete kitchen remodel and has been working on installing new granite countertops. When he picked up the countertops they were all nicely stacked an strapped to a sturdy custom shipping pallet. At that time he also received a paper asking that he recycle the pallet. The paper states to "Return to any Menards location for a $50 merchandise credit check". And also "Simply present this flyer to the cashier at the service desk to start the return process". One would naturally think the process would be easy with the markings on the pallet and the statement on the paper given. Not so! 40 mile round trip, pallet in truck and return paper in hand and Menards refused to honor the paper and give my father the $50 merchandise credit. Even after speaking with the manager they refused to honor the return receipt. If this is how Menards plans on treating their loyal customers unfortunately it may be time to rethink giving them our business. At this point it's not even about the $50 but their treatment of their senior customers and the fact they think they can take advantage of them.

They were very helpful in the frames department & gave us some suggestions on new matting. We left the picture with them & an hour later, they said it was ready. My son paid the $77 for the new frame & glass plus new matting as a Christmas present for his Dad. We were pleased with the quality of the work & the speed of getting it done. I will definitely shop here again.

This location is particularly messy and while I have occasionally scored here, more often than not I'm let down. Their book department is almost all children's titles and cookbooks. I was hoping for a board game, but again that department is primarily stuff for small children. Clothing? Mostly work gear, men's jeans, plain T shirts, thick socks etc. This last visit I had success with some closeout Del Monte canned vegetables and tomato products but overall the food items don't really seem all that cheap. Disappointingly, they do not have even one electric scooter shopping cart for people with mobility issues. The staff members are very sweet and pleasant and there is usually an adequate number of them. It is fun to roam around in here every couple of months, as you might possibly find a hidden gem. Just don't get your hopes up too high. I would say if you have numerous small children on your gift list, you'll probably be satisfied.
