When I first visited this store things seemed fine but after my experience with the equipment…read morerental side of the business I will never spend a dime here again.  I've rented heavy equipment from other businesses in the past but this was by far the worst. After my experience with this company I spoke to others in the community and they advised they had the same if not worst experience.  I had a friend that was helping me during my equipment rental and he stated before i finished my rental that he would rent the same equipment from them once I was finished but after seeing how they did business he went with another company.  First I will start off by stating i only rented from here because i wanted to help out local business but my mind has completely changed after this experience.  When I came in to check prices for equipment I was given a rundown by the equipment employee.  When I called to confirm my equipment rental I was told when to come in to get the equipment and I informed the employee I would be renting another heavy duty equipment after I returned the 1st.  I arrived to pick up the equipment and paid for it. I was only informed later by my buddy after loading the equipment that they took out a damage deposit which is understandable.  After getting to work with equipment it was apparent that the equipment was not 100%. It made a sqealing noise and was hard to turn.  Later I needed to rent the jackhammer attachment and it was brought out. I guess it was charged to my card because I don't remember giving my card information on the phone but later saw I paid for it.  While using the attachment the metal bent slightly  and broke the bolt holding the metal on the machine, it seems like a manufacture error or the equipment isn't meant for the attachment im not sure. The damage was only cosmetic and it appeared that all was needed was a bolt and the metal to be bent back. When I contacted the equipment employee to pick up the hammer the damage was so minimal that he didn't even notice it.  I gave him the bolt and metal and told him what happened.  He advised that it happens and it was nothing.  I continued using the machine until the track came off, remember the sound I was hearing when I first started, it was the bearing and it broke in half. I called the equipment employee and let him know what happened and he advised that it was already making that noise before and it wasn't a big deal and the mechanic was called to fix it. He eventually picked up the machine and took it back to the store.  Later when I called to get my deposit back, I spoke with the equipment employee but he was acting strange and told me to give him a call tomorrow.  He wasn't acting/talking like the same nice guy I had previously talked to and did business with. He was not really talking much and trying not to reply to questions about my deposit. He informed me that I would not be getting my deposit and that he has my card on file for future payment and would use it without permission.  Later that same week I was handed over to the owner and the owner spoke a different tune.  He told me that I wasn't getting my deposit and that I possibly owed them. I advised him that I payed the damage deposit and wouldn't that cover any damages even though I told him I didn't damage anything but the metal and that whatever damage he saw was probably from the previous rentals.  He told me that I wasn't getting my deposit and wasn't polite at all about it. He talked about the paint being scratched and a few dings. I told him I didn't remember anything like that but isn't that the reason why you have insurance because people renting aren't pros normally but diyers. Anyways to make this long story shorter,  I didn't receive any deposit and he kept telling me to come in to talk and see the pictures even though I informed him I was busy working and out of town but that he could send the proof through email.  I understood that he wasn't going to email me and seemed to be threatening. He wasn't very helpful, but more argumentative than anything. He basically told me that the insurance was for them and not for the customer. The owner stated I owed them a couple thousand even though the equipment employee picked the equipment up and said everything looked fine and I should get my deposit back, only to find out all of this later. The owner seems to be super arrogant and rude and have no customer service or just not care in my opinion.  I will never buy anything from this company even though I have to drive an extra 30mins to a big company.  I've had huge company treat me better than this small mom and pop store. I know this is long but I wanted you to know my experience and let you decide if you want to do business with this company.  Thanks for reading all of this and I hope it helps you make your decision.
