Terrible experience. Larry is clearly looking to scam people and do as little work as possible. I…read morehad a generac water pump that I took in for a warranty repair. The seal on the intake was no longer working and stuck open so the pump would not hold a prime and had no suction. His shop is two hours away from us but the closest authorized dealer. I dropped the water pump off on 11/20 and explained what the issue was. He called me on 12/04 and told me that he tested the water pump and it was running fine. I assumed this meant it was ready for pickup since it was within the timeframe I was given when I dropped it off so my husband and I drove to pick it up. When we got there, he asked questions that i had already answered when I dropped it off, and had us wait for about an hour while he claimed to submit the warranty paperwork. Once he claimed to have submitted the paperwork, he told us that we actually could not take the pump home that day unless we paid him for the work otherwise we would have to wait for generac to send him a check. We obviously would not pay so we left. I heard absolutely nothing from him for weeks, and after a couple months I started calling, but he would not speak to me. I was told by a woman that worked there that he was always out or busy, but that they would contact me when they received payment from generac. I was also told that the claim had already been approved and they were just waiting for the check. At the beginning of March I finally reached out to generac support to check the status of the warranty claim since I could never speak directly to Larry and they informed me that not only did he not submit the claim until a month after he tried to get money from us, but that he had not even properly filed the claim and someone from generac would reach out to him to help walk him through the process. About two weeks later I finally got a call from a lady at his shop saying they received payment and we could come get the pump. My husband and I drove to his shop today to pick it up, and immediately noticed that the flap on the intake was still not closing. We tested it, and sure enough the pump is still not holding the prime. So not only did he lie to us about submitting the warranty claim and attempt to get money from us in addition to generac, but he was attempting to get paid double for not fixing the pump.

I paid over 100 dollars for installation and all the guy did was drop it off and shrug his…read moreshoulders. Claimed I needed to get all these parts. I paid over 40 dollars for these parts and guess what?? It was the wrong size that he gave me and there was nothing wrong with my "fitting" I went to request my money back and the guy argued with me. Refused to give me to the manager. After 4 phone calls, I get the manager just for HIM to argue with me that dropping it off is as good as install. Then he started to be rude when I disagreed. They were unprofessional, and were SO happy to take money from a pregnant single mom of 4 and only doing HALF a job.
