The family is very friendly, husband and wife, who are hands-on owners and will physically mix paint, cut pipe, give you advice, point you to the right aisle, and give you a variety of options for what you are looking for. Sometimes their selection is lacking, especially if there has been a rush of customers, but overall, being downtown working for many years back-when, why would I run to Lavale and have to fight lines when I can walk right down the street and get taken care of quickly. What's also cool that you wouldn't think of- they have a variety of services as well that at big box stores you'll fight tooth and nail to have someone help you and probably then just pawn it off on another associate.
