The issue is when something needs to be returned. If you're ready for some abuse, and don't want to go to the DMV, this is a close second.... I recently returned a pressure treated plank that had a split in it, and shame on me for not seeing it. I waited for about 10 minutes for the associate to greet me, which is no problem. What I got was more of a growl than a greeting, however. "What do you want?" was the greeting. I can't really reproduce the tone very well in this review, but image someone barking at you and you will get the idea. I told her about an exchange with a new one and she said "Just leave it" at the other register. I handed her the receipt and said I would get the next one while she processed and was met with another bark "No! I am processing a refund". I apologized and said I thought it was just an exchange "We don't do that here" she growled back, never looking at me. The irony? When you get to the return desk there is a sign reading "We expect courtesy. We don't tolerate any verbal abuse of our employees..." The next time I go I will bring my own sign that reads "Customers expect courtesy. No verbal abuse will be tolerated...." and put it right next to theirs... Funny, my review is actually better than average on this Lowes....

Never use Lowes or East Coast Flooring for a carpet installation!! I should have listened to…read morereviews and used a local flooring company instead but figured I would give Lowe's a chance as I've been a loyal customer for years. Carpet was installed incorrectly and started coming up the next day, plus they installed a cheaper padding rather than what I paid for! Gilford Lowe's and installation support has horrible customer service, and keeps sending the installer back to my house without the materials to fix the issue. It has been a month now and we had to delay our move because the carpet still isn't installed correctly. They are refusing a refund or compensation and customer service literally recommended I pursue a credit card chargeback rather than helping or getting a manager to assist. Please do yourself a favor and use any other carpet installation company!!

There heads and tails above them. As far as the stock that they offer, they carry a lot better stock in with more selections. So for example, I needed one by 6 x 16 select pine, they had it in stock. Home Depot offered it in seven days with an expensive delivery charge. They deliver for free or $20 whatever it might be there are many other products that they carry that Home Depot Depot and Lowes do not carry Carrie. Their Lumber is of a far higher quality. The staff is far more knowledgeable.

Brought new gun home with the other compressor and it jammed too. I've rented two nail guns from another rental company and never had an issue. They wouldn't take the nails back because they don't take back unfull boxes but they sold me an unfull box. Edging sander left burn marks in new floor. I've rented here for 20 years but I don't know what has happened here with quality. I won't be back. Wasted a lot of time on a project that should have been a quick one.
