We did 3 each starting with homemade pimento cheese with celery sticks, sweet peppers sliced, and crustini. I'm not a big fan of the jarred commercial pimento cheese. This was extremely good. Tasting the peppers inside the cheese ball that you choose how and where to spread it. B+ maybe even A- for the flavor of the cheese and presentation. 2nd Course of shrimp etouffee. It was okay but too thin of a sauce due to a not dark enough roux. Flavors are spot on, shrimp are tender and delicious. A- for the effort to take on roux dishes. 3rd Course was a delicate hazelnut chocolate mousse in a champagne fluted crystal glass. Topped with a light whipped cream to find the dessert level. It had multiple layers of flavor in different areas of the mouth and nasopharynx. A+ for presentation and depth of flavor in a chocolate pudding! Cup of coffee to end the meal, so really 4 courses. The bookstore surrounds the entire restaurant. Very unique experience. Get reservations or try your luck with the Chef near 6:15 pm for a late exception allowed to slip in. Monthly menu then changed up, only work dinner shift on Fridays. Rest is lunch for Courthouse folk. Closed Sundays and Mondays. Overall Score A PS. There were other choices but I didn't try them so, another review for the future... Usually I photograph the food and menu, glucose meter said low so we ate in haste to also not keep entire restaurant open for just us, which we did anyways. And, chef and waitress were great at conversing while closing. PPS. We were greeted by Jeff and he was an absolute rockstar to not only us but all guests that came to visit while we were there. He was informative and polite throughout the whole time we were there. He shared with us the history of the building and future plans he has for the store, which we look forward to! Additionally, they have a great schedule for all sorts of events for all ages and interests. The store is organized very well and spacious to walk around in. The lighting in here was great and there are several tables and chairs to play card games or board games as well. They have a huge space that was well-ventilated, which I appreciate as several card shops can get really hot. We got two Lorcana boxes and Jeff went ahead and gave us two boosters for buying two boxes. That was absolutely super sweet of him to do and that is why we love supporting locals! And we got some great pulls, including my first Enchanted card so definitely do your shopping here!

I could easily spend an entire day here just wandering, browsing, and finding books I didn't even know I needed. The store is clean, well-organized, and has such a welcoming feel. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful without being overbearing, which made the experience even better. They were happy to answer questions and made us feel comfortable taking our time. There is even coffee! It was a really nice outing with my daughter, and we'll definitely be back. This location reminded me why I love bookstores so much. As for the value, it was dependent on the book. My daughter chose a"It" by Stephen King, so the amount she paid for the length of the book made sense to me.

I asked a clerk, whose name was Sky, but they unfortunately didn't have the one I was thinking of. Sky had a band T-shirt on that I knew my friend liked, so I asked them for advice. They pointed me towards a graphic novel series, SAGA, that they would recommend, based on the interests I shared of my friend. They also recommended other journals when I couldn't find the original I wanted, showing me the gothic section. When a journal I picked out ended up being torn, them and a cashier searched up whether there was more in the back, going the extra mile to help me succeed in my task. They listened to my incisiveness, and didn't pressure to add more onto what I thought of. I've been coming here for my Warrior Cat books for over a decade, which they make readily available every date they come out. Even with the layout changes over the years, I always appreciate being able to come in while my family is grocery shopping next door.

Imagine my surprise when I walked in and saw what I had been missing all this time!! Truthfully, I thought it was more of a craft store than a book store; but I was completely wrong. There are many, many shelves and aisles of books - much more than I thought there would be. Both "parts" of the store, the books and the craft, are plentiful. Book 'N' Brush have a great selection of all genres of books - adults, teens, kids - and it's already great to have these selections in a local store. Physical space side of things - the aisles are wide, the shelves are deep, book covers are displayed, top sellers are spotlighted - everything is easy to see and the store is easy to navigate. The staff was very friendly with me. Checking in when I walked in and then let me wander and look around without being pushy or making me feel like they were hovering over me. Perfect!! I was dying of thirst and needed a place to use the bathroom. The location appears to be a gift shop with an ice cream business on the side. Regardless, it is conveniently located at the waterfront. The shop did not have a ridiculously number of flavors. I would say it had enough. I decided to try the Mango sorbet on a waffle cone. The ice cream was delicious and I was pleasantly surprised by mango flavor. I think what I liked the most about it was that it wasn't super rich and that helped quench my thirst. I was dissapoined the establishment does not have public restrooms. Actually most the business in the area are the same way. After spending the day out on the boat fishing I was looking for a nice place to use the bathroom and rest for a little bit.
