He will promise you anything to your face to close the deal but his follow through is zilch! Lying to a customer is actually the worst thing a salesman can do! If you are looking for a mattress, well just about any store can offer you the same product as Mattress Firm, so I suggest you go to the other store! Unless you enjoy dealing with a salesman like Ricky who has no integrity and is a liar, then by all means go to Mattress Firm and ask for Ricky!

He approached me sweating like an Ebola patient and I wondered if perhaps he was dying, but no, this just the norm with him as I've dealt with him before at Rent-a-Center. He really gets around. RAC must have brightened up and sent him packing, much to my dismay as I moved on to aarons solely to escape his condescending, nasally voice on my voicemail three times a day. But what can you do. Not to mention he smelled like a strange mix of cotton balls and body odor. So I leased, among other things, a mattress. We set up delivery and I went home. Larry himself and another much more charming fellow came to deliver the mattress. He came into my home dripping like a wet rag and left a trail of bodily fluids down my hall and stained my lovely carpet an odd yellow. He also stained my mattess. Big wet handprints on the side. They also dried yellow. Seriously, I think they have medication for that kind of thing. Perhaps he should work from home. But as he left, he made some really lewd comments to me about 'breaking in that new matress.' I think he was comming on to me. It made me very uncomfortable. All was well for a few months until, just the other day, I decided to flip the mattress, as you do. Now the mattress was pristine on the top side we slept on... until I flipped it and, to my dismay, discovered a large human-shaped stain, and around the waist, a puddle-like brown one speckled with red that looked suspiciously of poo. I leaned down and, with a sniff, discovered that it was in fact poo. Bloody poo. Now remember, my husband doesn't know I rent, so when he asked where the stain had come from, I had to lie, telling him that yes, I had indeed pooed the bed while he was at work. So now, here I am, writing this in Depend diapera too keep my story straight so my husband does not get suspicious. I can't return the thing, because then I'd have to explain where the mattress went. And the last time Rent a Center came and took stuff, he beat me savagely. So to summarize avoid, this place and Larry at all costs. He'll ruin your life. He's done it before and he'll do it again.

I reached out via the phone and spoke with Bonnie to inquire more about them. I then reached out via FB messenger to see if certain pieces were still available and she was so accommodating and helpful. Yesterday we stopped in to check out some pieces. Bonnie and the gentleman there were both so kind, helpful and understanding. They couldn't have been any nicer. They have a huge selection of furniture, both new and used to choose from. You can rent or buy. A lot of furniture at more "typical" stores right now is on back order which isn't always ideal. Some of the used furniture is in better or worse condition than the next which is to be expected since they can't control how someone cares for the furniture they are leasing. The location was easy to get to with a great parking lot right next door. The space itself was immaculate. Everything was clean and easy to see. They explained how they thoroughly cleaned the each item they lease when it gets turned in which makes me feel much better about buying used from them versus elsewhere. It's definitely a great place to check out if you're in the market for new furniture!
