Not only are the sandwiches great but they have a little coffee shop, and a nice grocery area where you can find many local items , like honey, and other hard to find items like certain spices and herbs that aren't commonly in chain grocery stores.

This was our first time picking here, and I'd say it was a success! They have several patches and lots of berries that weren't super over-picked yet. I *think* it was roughly $2.75 per pound. There is a little playground for kids-- to include swings, a tunnel slide, and a sand pit. They also have one of those cute signs you stick your head in for photo ops. There's a large pavillion with several picnic tables located next to the family's homemade ice cream truck. Ice cream was $6 a bowl, and if I remember correctly, they had vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and banana ice cream. Lemonade was donation based. They have a small shop up front on the property, but we came closer to closing time, so I didn't want to bother anyone by going inside. I'd definitely like to go back to check it out, though! There are 2 port-a-potties on site, and both were relatively clean/smelled okay for being the end of the day. There was a hand washing station outside. All in all, I had a really positive experience and would go back!

My sister and I went to the business in Alvaton to pick up some sausage. There was a sign out by the road that said "Kirby and Poe" with an arrow. I turned into the driveway and noticed a building with a glass door that you could not clearly see inside with no identifying signs on the building. I parked and walked around the side of the building with no clear markings on the side. I cautiously opened the door and three people were right inside looking out the door. I said "I wasn't sure if this is a business or customer entrance". A man sitting to the left said "yeah we have an open door policy here". I said " I wasn't sure if this is where I needed to enter" We then noticed on the open wooden door the sign with the hours of operation. I turned to face the menu on the wall to my right and my sister noticed the man seated, made a face and rolled his eyes behind my back towards a man behind the counter. I could tell by the interaction with the man I was facing that something was happening behind me. It was a very awkward experience. I was a little taken aback by the situation and after paying nearly left my purchase because I just wanted to get out of there. Which added to the awesomeness of the experience. I did not feel welcomed in this business and I know made fun of when I left. A sign on the outside of your business building would be helpful to let customers know you are in the right place if "you are going to have an open door policy " and then maybe making your customers feel welcomed instead of mocked behind their backs would be good.
