We hired Larry for a kitchen remodel and it seemed like he had good reviews. We had another…read morecontractor out to the house who was very knowledgeable and professional, but only hired Larry because the quote came in lower. Now we seriously regret it. His work was sub-standard at best. His quote was at 3,500 originally, for a tiny kitchen, but when it was time to write the check we were charged an extra $650 in materials. We purchased all of the materials except some wood trim. I don't think mud, and screws, and a little bit of trim warrants $650, an extra charge that we were not informed about in advance, or an itemized list of what materials that he used to justify the extra costs. If screws, mud, and some wood trim warrants a $650 charge he must base his prices on what the government charges people which is seriously over inflated and ridiculous! I asked simple advice during the cabinet install and his excuse quoting him was " I'm a contractor not a designer". I never asked him to design our kitchen. The other contractor came out and actually designed the kitchen even before we hired him. We had a few cabinets that needed to be returned to Home Depot, which all contractors do. His excuse was " my truck is full I can't help you". Also our refrigerator was moved around the kitchen and both handles are now broken, possibly leaving us with having to replace it. The wheels on the refrigerator suddenly stopped turning because there was so much debris under them they seized up because of the lousy clean up of the floor was. Larry installed the new sink, and all new sinks come with garbage disposal covers, and he didn't even look for it in the box, therefore it was not installed leaving us to get someone else to install it. So I found out his honesty level is extremely poor, his work is cheaply done, and his attitude is unprofessional at best. His personality is over inflated just like his material costs! I only paid it because we were so fed up at that point with all of this mess, we just wanted to get rid of him! I asked him how much a tiny backsplash would be , just for my own curiosity and entertainment, and he came in at $2,500! He seriously thought I would even consider that after all the happened! Well, we cheated out hiring a contractor who did sub-standard work and broke our refrigerator handles, and left gouges in our new cabinets, and with a terrible attitude, besides other things. Never do that again! It was well worth hiring the other contractor, who would have done everything for us. We are seniors and my husband has Parkinson's and other health issues which he clearly seen. I would never, ever recommend him to anyone! One star is actually too good for him! Do yourself a favor, do your due diligence when hiring a contractor!

It pains me to have to write this review. My husband and I were in need of a plumber to sweat some…read morecopper lines. My husband reached out to Done Rite and was told he didn't service our area and wasn't sure he could totally do what we needed. Okay no problem. He said he'd come anyway since he had some open time and we greatly appreciated it, it had been tough to find a reputable and reasonably priced plumber. Larry is the owner, my husband spoke with him over the phone. He said he wasn't sure he could do what we were asking but said he would come anyway. My husband plumbed commercially many many years ago. With work and our kids, our plates are very full so we decided to hire this portion of our basement reno out. We were definitely happy we got somewhere who was available and seemed to be pretty personable and friendly. Larry told us his prices and we accepted them. Larry came by with 3 other guys, so total 4 guys including Larry. One guy attempted to do the work while Larry and the others stood around watching. When my husband realized they'd need some assistance he jumped right in to help. The other guys Larry brought were very friendly and nice, a far cry from what we've experienced before. Larry literally stood around and watched the one guy work, not giving any direction, smoked a few cigs outside our walkout and answered phone calls while these young and obviously inexperienced plumbers tried their best. One guy had more knowledge but you could tell he was still learning. Hours began passing and we realize this is not going to get done quickly if my husband doesn't help. Being the person that my husband is, he steps in to assist the obviously stumped guys at what else to do. My husband then had to say to Larry hey man why don't you get started on that section while these guys finish up here? Literally so much time was wasted. My husband ended up sweating some of the lines himself so they could be done faster smh. After all that Larry's sweating was poorly done to say the least. Finished product looked terrible. Then when we got the bill it was almost $700! And Larry did one copper pipe!! What a waste of money and he still charged us. We pay because we're honest people but we were not happy. We felt taken advantage of big time. Then a pipe starts leaking. We called Larry back, they had just left so we tried to catch them before they got too far. Larry sends back the one guy who did more of the work to fix the pipe. After the fixed issue, Larry asked if he can charge us for another hour! What a waste of time and money. It took them from 9am to close to 3/4pm to finish this job. And it would have taken longer if my husband hadn't stepped in and started telling them what to do. My husband did about 70% of the soldering. Larry's way of doing business is a sham. There is no way we should have been charged so much for him doing ZERO work and then he wanted to charge us $100 more after they had to come back and fix something. Of course we were not paying him anymore money for him to stand around while his worker tried to figure out what to do. The others who were very pleasant, looked lost and Larry gave them no guidance whatsoever. He definitely ripped us off. We should have just stopped them at 2 hours smh. Once we realized Larry was leaving these guys to just figure this out, my husband stepped in. Being nice and we got taken advantage of. Lesson learned. The one star was for the guys being friendly and coming to our area. Update: we now have a leak smh

This company "Lakeshore Floors" has been in business since 1994 and it still shows from start to…read morefinish with their high quality of professionalism, teamwork of employees that are skilled in many areas of flooring installation, cleaning and restoration. They also install and clean carpeting as well as tile and grout. My job as Trustee for my parents affairs including my childhood house was a stressful challenge with many choices and difficult decisions since March 19, 2019. After the house was empty by the 4th of July I decided to remove all the carpeting and padding which was 34 years old (stuck at times) throughout the house in 4 rooms, closets too and a hallway. The final and 4th color of carpet was sky blue. So 4 different colors of plush since 1958 when the house was built. It took 3 days for the carpet and padding removal. A back breaking and messy job removing it all plus the tack boards and transporting to the backyard for disposal in rolled up pieces. Finally I had an idea and hopefully a profitable one to clean, sand and restore these hardwood floors throughout the house that still looked in their original and beautiful state plus a sure selling point and value to help sell the house in a modern way as well. I used Yelp for my research based on previous reviews and found 4 businesses which I called for pricing, and time availability for my project. Dominic Frabotta the owner called me back within an hour after I left a message with my request. He personally made a appointment within a few days based on our schedules to see, access and measure the whole house for my estimate. We talked budget since I needed to save money for painting and other repairs that would be used for an old house to prep for sale. He worked out a price which was wonderful compared to the 2 other companies I had already called. The 4th company called me back and was too busy till November. Dominic explained the project would take 4 days. He also informed me that there would be a set of 2 different crews with 2 employees since they all have a different talents and skills at their jobs. It was a noisy 1st day of preparation which entitled sanding and stripping the old stain or varnish off throughout the house plus closets and also included any nails or boards that needed to be checked or addressed. I was outside working in the garage on items to sell or donate since the machine a voltage unit? showed 241on the meter in the kitchen, so I was not allowed even in the basement to work due to noise. The guys wore masks, gloves and headphones for protection and company safety policy. The 2nd day and 3rd day would be the stain which employee Brandon & Steve helped me decide on to perfectly match the kitchen cupboards a walnut brown color. Even though the stain was a different color and a change from the original hardwood floor color, Dominic assured me to try a medium brown color to change the appearance of the walk in the door feeling and he was 100% correct. The final results and my photos attached before during and after sold the house ! The 3rd day would be the sealer or clear coat applied by Wiiliam which was a fantastic day to see my choice in stain color to match the kitchen cupboards. The final job was completed by William with measuring the wall areas throughout the house for the cutting and staining at the shop for the shoe moldings. He installed all of them in rooms with a nail gun in 1 hour. Dominic and his awesome crew of guys went out of their way to keep the dust level down using a high tech vacuum equipment and clean up afterwards at the end of a work day. Their communication with me on details or ideas working the 3 days, was very helpful and successful in their final work results. The total price I paid for my parents home was very reasonable and within my budget to accomplish a job well done. My parents house sold in 24 hours after it was listed for sale with my agent on the web plus with many photos including the old yet new hardwood floors. The new owner was so pleased and thrilled to know and see such a wonderful job on the old hardwood floors instead of using carpeting. Thank you Dominic again and your professional crew of guys that have much talent and work hard at their skilled jobs. " An Awesome job from start to finish with no issues or complications! " I always use Yelp! I certainly recommend this Flooring company to anyone near or far. They service many areas and I will post their business card which lists many other professional care: Carpet cleaning, carpet sales, tile and grout, stripping and waxing, commercial tile and grout cleaning, Tile Floor sales and installation with Duraceramic, Pergo, & UCT Tile. I look forward to calling on him again for my own home to resurface and stain the hallway area of hardwood floors in 2020.

He was extremely professional and fantastic to deal with. His employees/subs were all wonderful too. I had almost the entire main floor of a new house redone in vinyl tile, carpet, and refinished wood. The work was completed on schedule and on budget, and all of it was of the highest quality. Each project turned out perfectly. I was extremely nervous about making such big investment in my home, but I needn't have been - I couldn't be happier with the results! I'm already dreaming up more work for Dominic & Co to do in my basement next year. These guys are the real deal. A++
