We had a cash offer to close in a week and needed to address a few issues prior to closing. I reached out to Marvis on a short notice and he was able to accommodate all the fix and installation needed to sell the property. He installed for us a new furnace and also addressed multiple pipe leaks for us. His plumber actually missed a few leaks but what I really appreciate from Marvis was he took responsibility for this and sent the plumber out to address this without additional charges. He was also able to send his guys out on the weekend. What I really like about working with Marvis what there was a constant line of communication. He made me feel as if I could always reached out if I had any questions or concerns. From working with Marvis, he really became someone I can trust. When we called we expected a wait before they would do the work, but they must have piggybacked us with another job in the area as they completed the new driveway within 2 weeks of our call. I have owned 2 houses in my life, for a total so far of 35 years, and this was the strangest…read moreexperience I have ever had with a contractor; I felt like I was on Candid Camera. I contacted the company for a quote on gutters; they insisted that I be able to meet with the salesman for "x" minutes, so he can show me his "presentation". Not ideal, but I went with it. Beaudy came by and spent 90 minutes with me; taking photos, notes, calling back and forth to the "boss" to get my price lower. They agreed to lower the price if I agreed to allow them to place a sign in my yard for "x" days. Fine, I paid a deposit on that's when the fun started. The day of the install, two people came over that morning. They did not know where things went, They had no idea what a rain barrel was. I walked around with them explaining it all, and then had to leave for vacation. There was a significant language barrier; although they were very professional and worked quickly, they had no instructions. While on the road, I received a call from a guy who was at my house, wanting to review the project and making suggestions on changes due to drainage issues he discovered. I had to pull over to talk to him; I had already spent 90 minutes with Beaudy, then another hour with the install crew, now this cocky guy who I had never heard of. Where was Beaudy? Does he even work for this company? I called the office and asked that Mr. cocky pants gets off my. property and send Beaudy over. When the job was finally "done", it was not done, The rain barrel was left uninstalled; deflectors were missing in several places. The owner (?) Bryan came out several times to fix all of the problems. This is the short version, this was so ridiculous I can't believe it really happened. I finally "found" Beaudy, who said he was out with Covid for 3 weeks. That would have been nice to. know; but I still am not convinced he even works there. BIZARROWORLD.
