I had already purchased our appliances and we had the tiles we loved already picked out so we went with information in hand and they took that and created our dream kitchen. We originally had the idea of just tiling behind the range when it was suggested that we tile the entire backsplash since we were going with white cabinets and gold hardware. We listened to their advise and were blown away with the finished product. I can not express enough how amazing and simple working with the team at Eastchester Kitchens and Baths was and would highly recommend them!

Last week, a few days after we put down a $10k deposit to have them come measure (they did not ask…read morefor a deposit or anything to do the design) we decided to go with a different company as they came in almost $20k less for the same design and same manufacturer (FABUWOOD) and we requested our deposit back (minus $1000 to compensate the designer). It's important to note that we have the designer a design to work off of and she tweaked it a bit, but it's 90% the same layout. Anyway, we get a call from the owner saying he will NOT refund the $10,000 deposit (they originally pressured us for $20k, thank god we didn't do that), but that he would consider giving us $2,000 back and If I don't like it I'll have to sue him. He mentioned he already spoke to his lawyer and even if we dispute it with AMEX, he e knows he will win (it sounded like he has done this before and knows how to play the game) We did of course dispute it through AMEX, notified the BBB and also emailed the CEO of FABUWOOD sharing the deceptive practices of this company and will tag on IG/X It feels like we are getting scammed here - Do not give this company any $ and it looks like many of their Google Reviews are fake / paid for , also check YELP and FB.
