We chose to pay the extra to have the 24' class C RV delivered since we were 47 miles one way and it would've caused us to backtrack. The delivery gentleman, Carlie, was knowledgeable, hospitable and thorough in explaining the RV as it was out first time in an RV (much less renting one!). Now mind you prior to renting the RV, we had watched dozens of RV YouTube videos prior to departure so when our fresh water hose didn't work, we didn't bother asking for reimbursement when we purchased a new one. It's just #RVLife We did consider renting from the primary national competition, but after seeing the condition of some of their vehicles in many videos, they looked damaged and unkempt instead of what NARV offered, which was a clean, well-maintained, and beautiful. The build took longer than expected but was definitely worth the wait. It was very apparent during the build process and upon delivery that a great deal of attention was put into the building. It's very obvious they care about the workmanship of the product they deliver. Again, it was definitely worth the wait and a few unexpected surprises were incorporated in the van. I have a few minor adjustments to make in my design and that's my fault as a few things aren't as functional as I would like. I did a custom build and I take full responsibility for my choices. I enjoyed working with them and would not hesitate to use them again or recommend their services. The staff and owner are beautiful souls and I can't express my gratitude for them adequately. I rented an RV from Lightnin for a trip to Yellowstone and it was one of the best vacations I ever…read morehad. In terms of pricing it was a little costly to rent the RV but after checking prices elsewhere it was in no way out of line with what you are going to get anywhere else. Considering that all their units are very new I would say it was actually a bargain. When I picked up the unit they gave me a brief and very helpful tutorial (being a first time user) and then off I went with a fully prepped and cleaned RV. The trip was over 4000 miles and 11 days. During that time we had not one problem with the RV. It was more than up to the task even when climbing large hills, as is necessary in Yellowstone. ;) On our return the checkout was very quick and my deposit and refund for miles not used was returned to me very promptly. Overall the experience was so enjoyable I am now planning to purchase my own travel trailer in the future. If, however, I ever want to rent again in the future I would not hesitate to use Lightnin RV again. I highly recommend them.

Our goal? Find something that lets us escape the daily grind for weekend getaways. The sales staff was refreshingly friendly and low-pressure. They didn't hover or push us toward a sale, but were always nearby to answer questions--especially around pricing and layout options. That made the whole experience feel relaxed and informative, which is a nice change from the YouTube rabbit hole we'd been in. We explored Class A through Class C motorhomes. Class C felt like the sweet spot for us: enough space to stretch out without feeling like we were driving a bus. Most Class B layouts were just too cramped for our crew. We also peeked at some fifth wheels, but ultimately ruled them out--they didn't quite fit our weekend warrior vibe. Overall, it was a great visit. No pressure, just helpful insights and a chance to see things in person. If you're in the early stages of RV dreaming like we are, Woodstock Camper World is a solid place to start.

This is a locally owned and operated business that serves its customers well. I've only purchased…read moreparts from this business but have gone out of my way (literally) because the employees here are so helpful. If they don't have it in stock they can usually get it the next day. The parts department has helped me out of a bind several times. Today I wanted the thermostat and over-temperature cutoff for an Atwood water heater. They had it in stock. The technician also took time to discuss my water heater issues and offered tips and troubleshooting techniques. I wish this place was around the corner from me but I'm willing to drive out of my way for good service. Thanks to all the Mark Tuggle staff!
