Happy Tails has been our go-to for everything from long vacations to quick weekends away where our two dogs can't join. They even have come to the rescue for emergencies and watched our pups. Happy tails is the BEST option for pet boarding any animal. My dog is a bit timid at first of people and other animals. By the end of this vacation for him he was a whole new dog!! My dog absolutely loved happy tails. I know this because he was totally exhausted after this trip,I even think he missed the buddies he made. They have a HUGE Yard the dogs run around and play in,the floors are heated,they also offer beds,bedding,and treats all for the same price. Some kennels nickel and dime for every little thing and you don't even know if your pet gets what you pay for. The owner was so kind and sent us tons of pictures of our dog playing with other dogs. The best compliment anybody can give a business is to refer friends. Well I have lost count how many friends I have referred to Happy Tails. Our dog JoJo is somewhat picky with who gets to take care of him and not only does he LOOOVEEE Paul and Tina but he loves the other dogs. For the first time I can go on vacation and not worry AND get updates via email from Paul or Tina. These guys are fantastic and have a fan for life. So happy to find this place! We were really worried about leaving our pup somewhere while we were on vacation. We looked around and a lot of places have kennels or they required our dog to be neutered (which we are holding out on for a few more months) It's right down the street from my parents house and typically I park the car there when we fly out of town. Anyways, every one was really nice on the phone. I love that you only pay per night and there's not a frantic struggle to get him picked up or dropped off by a certain time, we got to pick our own times beforehand! We were not the ones to drop him or pick him up, family/friends did that for us. But when he got picked up, my buddy said he was very sad to leave and when he got to his house, he waited by the car as if he wanted to be taken back to happy tails! I called at the end of his first day to check in. They were so happy to explain how he was doing and which dogs he was playing with. It really put my mind at ease and helped me enjoy my vacation! Rates are great!! Definitely will go back for overnights and may do daycare when we are in Enumclaw for family functions. Cannot say how grateful I am for taking such good care of needy dog!! read more

My 'kids' just love going to 'camp'. Paul and Tina take awesome care of the pups and when it's time to come home they're happy and worn out from their stay. We're regulars during the summer and I wouldn't dream of taking them anywhere else. read more

We have used this service when our preferred doggy daycare owner is out of town. I thought it was good enough for when my preferred service is not available but I was wrong. My dog loves our preferred place, but does not like this place at all as he barks and cries here - which should cue the owner in that they are doing something wrong. My dog also is much more aggressive at our backyard fence line when having stayed here. They treat you as if they are doing you a favor when the dog owner is actually the customer. "We are so busy!" "We barely have time to get you in before the next time" "pay now! Cash or check only! No credit cards!" "You are early, wait in your car!" "But don't be late!" My dog developed a hotspot while in their care, said they called me, they did not call and did not leave a message. So I did not get the service that I paid for- remember it's YOUR money they want and they don't really want to earn it! read more

I am definitely reviewing this business based off of the form of communication used between myself and said business owner. We had planned on using their services for the holiday season, and actually used their online business form to place said reservations. It's very straight forward and easy to scroll down to fill out the required paperwork. I was excited because out of all the reviews, all of the Dog care facilities, this one ranked the best it seemed. After a full two weeks I received an email saying that they had over booked this holiday season and would need to cancel our reservations! They offered two referrals, both of which on Yelp either have horrid reviews , or even one is stated as CLOSED. I appreciate transparency in a business and from what I've experienced from the business owners, was a lack of communication. It speaks volumes and I'm disappointed because the reviews on here tell a different story. I'd suggest updating your online format, address your response times, and actually use the technology you have to address the customer base you'd like to build! read more

I've been coming to Happy Tails for 10 years. Paul and Tina are the dog whisperers. They truly understand how dog packs work and take the time to understand your dogs personality. Huge spaces for the dogs to roam, smell, and have fun with other dogs. My dog has always been exhausted after his visit. I come all the way from downtown Tacoma to board my dog. I can't say enough good things about Happy Tails. Paul and his staff take excellent care of my 8 month old pup Rudy. He knows when he's headed to daycare and when he hears Paul's voice I no longer exist! The dogs are grouped by size and get to run with their pack in a beautiful country setting that's very secure. Your dog will always have someone keeping a watchful eye on them and will never be left unattended with their pack. They go inside for nap time in a spotless kennel area. Rudy has so much fun and has become very well socialized as a result of his time here. They also provide overnight boarding...I don't think Rudy even missed me! I have used Happy Tails twice for my Bichon. He loves having a big field to run in and doesn't worry about big dogs chasing him...he is in with like sized, minded peers. I took him out and picked him up the first time. The second time they picked him up and brought him home after I returned from my busness trip. I found the pick up and delivery excellent service and timely. They have nice kennels set up inside a remodeled barn with under floor heating and all is very clean. Check them out.
