Our dog loves Centennial Kennels. He is not scared to go there he comes home and he is like a puppy again. We love the staff an everything they do for our Nico!!! Highly recommended they need 10 stars not 5.

    See his joy!!!

Our dogs love coming to Centennial!!! We take them on vacation with us as much as we can, but when dogs are not allowed we feel good about them staying here! They take daily photos and have options of playtime with them. The charge is minimal and my boy LOVES his playtime!

Our 10 year old boy Wilson has been here twice for grooming. Dalton and Madison handled him amazingly!! Very professional.

We have been here twice for grooming, Dalton and Madison did a great job with our 10 yr old pup.

I've put my dog in for boarding here. I was nervous at first since he can be quite reactive to a number of things and people but I felt better once I handed him off to Adrianna. Good staff and they really know what they are doing. My dog Koda is happy every time I drop him off and pick him up. They also post daily pics of pets during their stay. I find that to be super reassuring and comforting to see whenever I see all of the babies. The staff is friendly and he has bonded with some of them. They even gave him a bandana when i came to pick him up! I will only be bringing my dog here for boarding! They're great!

We didn't know if we could find a kennel to board our dog, Trip, because he's very shy and reactive to people.

A shock collar was discovered on my dog jammed so tight on his neck that both my husband and the male employee had significant difficulty removing it. The employee at pickup did not disclose the use and was going to allow us to leave with this collar still on our dog. There was no communication during his stay that this type of discplinary action was necessary and it was a complete shock, since we have used the boarding service several times and our dog's behavior has only been praised. A single finger couldn't even fit underneath it. The employee on duty had to physically choke, pull, and wrestle my dog to get it off causing him severe distress, flailing, and yelping. He was inside of an unsupervised crate with this device and staff have not disclosed how many days this device was used. We have tried to communicate with the owner directly, and have been told three very different explanations regarding the use which shows deception and lying. Leaving an improperly fitted, high-pressure correction tool jammed on a confined dog unattended, with zero shift logging or handler handoff is negligence, plain and simple. When confronted with these safety failures, the owner doubled down with deflection rather than addressing why my dog was wrongly subjected to unmonitored equipment and choking under their roof. Formal complaints has been filed with Regional Animal Services of King County (RASKC), along with deceptive business practice reports with the WA Attorney General. Save your dogs the trauma and avoid sending your dog to this facility.

Julia did a 2 week board & train with our dog while we were traveling, mainly focusing on leash skills and practicing calm behavior around exciting things. We noticed an immediate improvement, but have also been continuing to work on the training at home after our follow up. I put my dog into boarding August 17-21, 2023 with Shaggy Shack; Thursday afternoon to Monday morning. My dog has a muscle dystrophy disorder that effects anywhere in her body that has collagen. At less than 2 years old, she has severe arthritis in her elbows. I let Shaggy Shack know of her disorder prior to leaving her with them. I even wrote a note and taped it to her food container. I spoke with 2 workers, 1 manager, and then finally the owner. None of the stories matched with the others. When I spoke with Tonya, the owner, I explained how I received my dog and that her inflammation could only be that severe if she was not given her medication. Tonya said "the girls could have missed some medications, we're not perfect." I asked for a refund, to which she said "we won't be administering a refund because that would be admitting we did something wrong." My dog was returned to me with dried blood and sticky from pee, how is that right? I have no answers I'm satisfied with, only multiple stories of what may or may not have happened to my disabled dog. At this point, I paid to have her be grossly neglected. Tonya provided a med sheet 4 days later to try to claim they gave my dog her medication, even though my hydrotherapist (who I had look over my dog for other injuries) agreed her condition could've only been that bad if she had not received her medication. Tonya shifted the blame to me, saying "You chose to bring her to a highly stimulated setting instead of staying home with your handicapped pup." I trusted Shaggy Shack to care for my dog as if she were your own, as the website claims the business would do. I will not make that error again and suggest others not to as well. Do better.

I would highly recommend though. I like our home spot, but his one has something very special about it. Bernard loves playing with dogs, but when its raining at our normal spot he ends up sitting inside with some outside time and not a lot of dog socialization... or at least that is my guess. When he comes home on rainy days he is not all that tired. In fact he seems like he just hung around all day instead of playing. The first time we took him to Shaggy Shack it was raining and I thought he was going to come home not tired at all. Oh man was I wrong. He was knocked out and it was in a way that leads me to believe not only does he get to play with dogs, but he has moments of thinky time or play time with humans. I cant say for sure, but I love how he comes back those days. Clearly wore out from a day of fun. I really like this place but unfortunately its a bit of a drive to do daycare daily especially when we have an on base option right next to my wife's work. I will say though they are definitely going to be our go to for boarding. The one major downside to our normal spot is there are no options for drop off pick up on Sundays. A lot of our trip or time where we need to board is Just saturday evening. This gives us the opportunity to board and pick up when we return and not have to board an extra night. In addition we had a last minute boarding need when I was too lazy to get boarding scheduled at our normal spot and it worked out perfectly. I highly recommend this place. Its not on base so anyone can use. The place is huge. Staff knowledgable and friendly and overall I have nothing but positives about here. I wish their location was closer, but thats not a negative, just a desire to make my life easier.

The company's website has incorrect daily pricing (website says $35/day whereas they told me when I arrived in person the pricing is $65/day and they didn't share the revised pricing with me even when we corresponded over email until I came for a tour in the middle of a work day). The disregard for my time and the bait-and-switch pricing is nothing short of a scam and is a completely unethical. To make matters worse; we scheduled the tour because we were looking for a boarding place for our dog. I was informed upon arrival that all dogs must have done day camp for 15 days (about $1,000 and three weeks of time) before they can be boarded. Also not disclosed on the website or via multiple email prior to our visit. It's a shame because the facility seems nice and the employees seemed otherwise helpful and professional. Unfortunately I can't convince myself to do business with them given the shady business practice. Over three months to update their website is no longer reasonable. Update: Just noticed their Facebook also isn't updated for services and pricing. Completely dishonest.
