Usually tambayan ko dito kapag pagod na mag-shopping TARAY MAY PERA WINDOW SHOPPING LANG PALA HAHAHA One time, nakagawa ako ng blog post dahil nag-oobserve ako ng mga kumakain dito kaya about sa kanila yung nasulat ko. TSISMOSA PALA AKO. Ano bang pinapatunayan ko girl?: masarap at masayang tumambay sa Chatime. Dami ko pang sinasabi eh. Hahaha! Kapag napapasarap yung tambay moment ko syempre may hiya naman akong umorder more than sa Chocolate Mousse diba MAYABANG KAYA AKO CHAR kaya kain ako ng Chicken Chops tapos kapag sobrang gutom may kasama pang Annatto Pilaf Rice yan! Pero the best sa lahat yung French Fries (BBQ yung favorite ko!) makapal siya like my fez hahaha tapos crispy na malambot (hindi ko maexplain basta perfect siya for me!) Favorite tambayan ko at Chatime tapos nakakatuwa kasi nagvavibrate yung pinaka-number kapag okay na yung order mo dito. It tasted yummy but disappointed with the tapioca as it is not fresh. I am very familiar with how a fresh boba taste like and I also can tell if it's at least a day old. To say we were big Serenitea milk tea fans would be an understatement. I walked past this branch a few days ago and got a little sentimental. CHOS. Hahaha. I just remembered how much I used to loooove milk tea and Serenitea's chicken chops! It was and still is by far the best milk tea station for me. Plus, it hasn't killed me or anything so that's a really good thing! Staying at this particular Serenitea branch may be challenging though as it only has a number of seats available, and most call center agents or professionals who work nearby frequent this place a lot.

Their serving size is alright, albeit on the expensive side. The flavors are alright. It isn't too chemically or fake... it's tasty, yes. Their sashimi is good, too. They have the cheapest salmon sashimi I've seen. There's a lot of it too but they're thin slices compared to the slabs I'm used to. However, I appreciate that! The thinness makes that tasty salmon creaminess come out just right when blended with soy sauce and wasabi. And there's their cherry blossom themed milk tea offerings they do for a limited time each year. All in all, a good meal. BUT. (And this is a big but.) Their service is so. Abysmally. Slow. It didn't happen once, didn't even happen twice. It's happened almost every bloody time I go. I end up waiting for twenty, thirty minutes for my order. Sometimes, it's worth it... sometimes it isn't. Theolly is absolutely not the former. It follows a subdued color palette with brown as the dominant color; the motif is dark in a cozy kind of way. It also is not too minimalist for hanging on the walls are paintings patterned after Asian art traditions. Yes, the paintings are not as elaborate as the creations of the Baroque and Rococo period, but they do liven up the atmosphere of the place. For layout and ambiance, Theolly beats all milk tea places I have visited. When it comes to their teas, I would have to say their Kiwi Yakult with Black Pearl Tapioca is one of the best I've tried so far. Usually, I would get a drink with zero percent or 25 percent sugar. But, taking into consideration my fiancé who just wanted to share one big serving with me, I asked the barista to make the sugar level 50 percent. I was glad that it did not come out very sweet. The subtle sour taste of yakult and the refreshing taste of kiwi were still able to shine despite the sweetness. Good job, Theolly. Looking forward to visiting you again!

My favorite classic smoothie that can still be considered healthy, though probably not the healthiest considering the amount of sugar that goes into the blender, is their Banana Berry. It's made of strawberries, blueberries, and raspberry sherbet--again, not the healthiest of the bunch, but in my opinion, the best tasting one among all the classic fruit smoothies. My guilty pleasure, on the other hand, only because I shouldn't order more than one in the same week, would be their Peanut Butter Moo'd smoothie. Peanut butter, vanilla frozen yogurt, bananas, milk chocolate. There's just no pretending with this one. It's hella good, but watch out for those calories. A creamy smoothie like that can easily make you gain up to 400+ calories.
