Last week I made the mistake of jogging around Eastwood City only to find out that there weren't enough walking paths. I ended up sweating for no other reason than the humidity. My one and only solace in the heat? Jamba Juice.
Their convenient spot in front of Eastwood Mall makes it easy to find, even more tempting to grab their juice. There's no place to sit in the interior and only three tables outside, which makes this branch more suitable for ordering smoothies on-the-go or sipping them on your way to work, or elsewhere.
My favorite classic smoothie that can still be considered healthy, though probably not the healthiest considering the amount of sugar that goes into the blender, is their Banana Berry. It's made of strawberries, blueberries, and raspberry sherbet--again, not the healthiest of the bunch, but in my opinion, the best tasting one among all the classic fruit smoothies.
My guilty pleasure, on the other hand, only because I shouldn't order more than one in the same week, would be their Peanut Butter Moo'd smoothie. Peanut butter, vanilla frozen yogurt, bananas, milk chocolate. There's just no pretending with this one. It's hella good, but watch out for those calories. A creamy smoothie like that can easily make you gain up to 400+ calories. read more
