Always a smile and I've never heard of an onion crunch dog before but it is amazing! Prices are worth the quality you get in every dog.

We recently visited Paducah, Kentucky for the first time. We live in Louisville and would rather…read moreget out of town on Derby weekend, so this year it was Paducah. After doing some record shopping we asked "Where's a good place to go for lunch" and there was a unanimous "Parker's" from standers by. It was also, literally, about 3 blocks away. There's a menu board mounted behind the counter and they can hand you one so you don't have to squint your eyes to see all they have to offer. And this menu is ENORMOUS Parker's is a very cool throwback to the car hops of the 50s and early 60s. You can order outside on the speaker or go inside for the full-on experience. The inside is decorated with movie and music memorabilia and neon. Lots of neon. If you're eating inside you order at the counter, they give you a number, and you find a seat. The menu is hand-held/bar food. Burgers, hotdogs, onion rings, and fries, and a variety of sandwiches and a HUGE selection of sides. My wife had a mushroom and swiss burger, I had your basic cheese burger. Our sides were onion rings and fries. Our food was delivered hot, fresh, and accurate within ten minutes. My wife's burger/onion rings came on a basket shaped like a guitar. #AWESOME!! The food was tasty and delicious. I asked for tomato on my cheeseburger and they were able to add it, but was sliced probably 3/4 of an inch thick! It made the burger look a little lopsided, but it was still good. The staff was friendly and didn't look at me funny when I asked for a side of mayonnaise for my fries (yea I'm that guy). The dining room was authentically decorated, like I said, with vintage movie and music stuff down to the chrome chairs and the soda fountain seat with silver, twirly seats...even the floor tiles were like something you'd see in a movie from the 50s. Our first visit was a great experience and we had a lot of fun despite unrelenting rain. If we get to Paducah again, Parker's Drive In is definitely our lunch destination.

Really great drive-in! Ordered the fried chicken sandwich (but almost went for the burger) and it…read morewas really good! Super hot when it came out and I ordered the coleslaw to go with it. It was good! What a preferred the coleslaw slightly less sweet, but it was still really good. Everything was hot, service was great (and I'm pretty sure that girl was the only one running around with food, so awesome job! Really friendly and took care of her customers!) cute little drive-in with good food! 5 stars!

This is also a German restaurant as well. We had a Reuben appetizer (in fried roll form). Yum. It…read morecame with 3. Just needed to be a little more cooked for me. It was good and reheated well in our air fryer at home! My husband liked the Jägerschnitzel. Unfortunately that day it was not as usually made. They were out of something that usually goes in it. My husband still enjoyed it very much. (I forgot to take a picture and it was unrecognizable before I could do so). I had the Bavarian Smash w/fries. I would never have "made" a burger with sauerkraut- but it worked! Heated up nicely at home. It's a large burger! Also the fries, although just wrinkle fries, were well cooked and actually had salt! Yum!! We also had a free dessert but didn't really care for it much. Brownie something served in a plastic cup. It had pistachios in it. Maybe if served differently it would have been more appetizing - maybe. I ended up throwing it away after we arrived home. Prices were reasonable for the amount of food! I would think those who work out in the training office just off the entrance to the building would find it difficult with the delicious smells coming out of this little open place in what I would call the lobby. Would go back with friends and try something different next time.

I was intrigued by the menu. Chicago dogs, a couple of German dishes!, unusual appetizers, and very…read moreappealing and unique desserts. We thought we'd start with the burger. I love a great smashburger--thin, crispy and well seasoned. This was not it, although the pickles, tomatoes and lettuce were satisfying. Tasted bland, "frozen" type structure and no crispness. Fries were all right. Banana pudding was amazing. I will try something else next time but those burgers need major work.
