Oscar was a joy to work with. He promptly returned my call and quickly came out to provide an evaluation and quote. Oscar thoroughly explained the problem and the solution. Additionally, he broke the quote down into segments...this amount for just the water diverters (which would fix the problem), this amount if wood damage is discovered underneath. I should mention, when doing the job Oscar confirmed there was no wood damage, which attests to his honesty. A true professional who takes pride in his craft and making sure the job gets done correctly the first time. Oscar is a soft spoken gem. I have zero reservations about using them again for any of our household repairs. Call Oscar, you won't be sorry.

My wife went to lunch with a bunch of Neighbors and they all said oh no, don't use him once you pay him he never comes back. Several recommended using Oscar instead and gave her his number. He showed up when he said he would and was extremely detailed in all that he was going to do. His work was impeccable. He cleaned up after himself. His workers were great and we are extremely pleased with what he has done for us. He may not be the cheapest but you would be hard-pressed to find someone better. I would highly recommend him for stucco, stone and related repairs.

This second time he again performed above and beyond our expectations. He repaired several loose and fallen stones and repaired two areas of stucco that had been damaged. Mike's work is excellent, he is reliable and very reasonable on cost. We highly recommend Mike and will use him in the future any and every time we need stucco or stone work.

Williams Stucco did a beautiful job on my house in Cottonwood Heights. They restored my…read more30-year-old west-facing side which was badly cracked. They repaired a crumbling area around a bad window replacement from 10 years previous. They did this in an area that required creative scaffolding to reach a 3rd floor, on a steep sloped surface. Color match was great. Finished texture looks great. Good price, and reasonable time to complete. I am very happy with their work!

We recently had the pleasure of working with Nelson from Grey House Painting for a project that…read moreinvolved staining, painting, and patching work around our newly remodeled banisters and staircases. Simply put, Nelson did an incredible job, and the results exceeded all our expectations. One of the biggest parts of this project was staining the new handrails and banisters to match our existing flooring. Nelson showed my wife and me a wide range of stain samples, each carefully selected to closely match the tones of our floors. He was patient and helpful throughout the selection process, and the final result was a perfect match to the sample we chose. The stain not only looks beautiful on its own, but it really ties the whole area together and makes everything feel cohesive and intentional. In addition to the staining, Nelson painted all the trim around the stairs and banisters. This fresh coat of paint gave the space a clean, crisp look and really helped the new woodwork stand out. His attention to detail was apparent in every aspect of the project, edges were sharp, lines were clean, and there was absolutely no sloppiness. He also went above and beyond when it came to prepping the area. Before he got started, Nelson took great care to tape and mask off all nearby surfaces, so there was no overspray or mess to worry about. That level of care and professionalism really stood out. He also patched and textured the walls in areas where the old banisters had been removed, and you would never know there was any work done there. The patched areas blend in flawlessly with the surrounding wall, both in texture and paint color. Throughout the entire process, Nelson kept us fully informed. He let us know when he would arrive, when he was wrapping up each day, and gave regular updates on progress. It's refreshing to work with someone who values communication and follows through on every promise. He quoted us a fair and competitive price for the work, and we felt we received incredible value given the high level of quality and care he put into everything. Aside from his obvious skill, Nelson is just a genuinely kind and sincere person. It's clear that he takes a lot of pride in his work, and he wants your project to look amazing. If you're looking for a painter who is talented, trustworthy, and truly invested in doing great work, I wholeheartedly recommend Nelson at Grey House Painting. He'll make your home look its absolute best.

Called again (wished I didn't) he said he would be out next week on Wednesday to give me a quote. Okay, fine. Wednesday comes. I haven't heard a word from him. I call. I get hung up on. I call again, am told to hold, when he picks up...he hangs up on me again. When I call a third time...no apology. Instead, it felt like the opposite. Then he tells me he came by the house and called me five times and left a message. Um...he may have come by but my phone has no message nor any missed calls. He's rude about it. Then proceeds to tell me what he found and gives me an estimate that's far higher than by a more reputable company (I was hoping to find someone to do the job for a lot cheaper). I told him I was curious as to why it costs so much to do such a job. He tells me that I wouldn't understand it because I'm not in construction. He asks me what I do for a living and when I tell him he scoffs. I then reassure him that I was just trying to understand why something like this costs as much as it does. His response: I'd tell you, but I don't want to. Nice.
