They're listed under handyman. I called Mark, he came to my house. I showed him all the work that…read moreneeded to be done and he told me they only do painting. So, I showed him my stairway that needed to be painted. I'm a really good painter, but have developed vertigo, so I try to avoid ladders. I told him I just needed the upper portion painted (which is really high) and that I could take it from there. I just needed it painted from the ceiling, down the wall about 5 feet, on just 3 walls. I was DESPERATE to see SOMETHING get done. I told him I had the paint, rollers, brushes and ladders and asked him if he could do it right then. He went outside and talked to his partner/painter, then came back in the house and said, "Okay, since we're here, we can paint the upper portion for $250.00. I knew that was an outrageous amount, but like I said, I was desperate. He wanted cash up front, I gave $250.00 in cash. His painter was in and out in less than 30 minutes, then they took off. After the paint dried, I could see where the painter had "Dry Rolled" almost everywhere he painted!! $250.00 is way too much to pay for a crap job. My husband called Mark and told him it need to be repainted. Mark said his painter was sick but they would come to our house on Monday or Tuesday. It is now Friday.......HAVE NOT HEARD FROM MARK!!! Out of disgust, I went to Walmart and bought a special tool that will cut in along the ceiling, using a paint roller extender. I painted along the ceiling (which was my main worry/fear) then rolled out the walls. It looks great......NO THANKS TO MARK AND HIS (supposed) PAINTER!!!

Gabriel said he could do our home in seven days so we went with him despite having much more cost effective offers. They left my trash full and did not take away any garbage. We recently had the pleasure of working with Nelson from Grey House Painting for a project that…read moreinvolved staining, painting, and patching work around our newly remodeled banisters and staircases. Simply put, Nelson did an incredible job, and the results exceeded all our expectations. One of the biggest parts of this project was staining the new handrails and banisters to match our existing flooring. Nelson showed my wife and me a wide range of stain samples, each carefully selected to closely match the tones of our floors. He was patient and helpful throughout the selection process, and the final result was a perfect match to the sample we chose. The stain not only looks beautiful on its own, but it really ties the whole area together and makes everything feel cohesive and intentional. In addition to the staining, Nelson painted all the trim around the stairs and banisters. This fresh coat of paint gave the space a clean, crisp look and really helped the new woodwork stand out. His attention to detail was apparent in every aspect of the project, edges were sharp, lines were clean, and there was absolutely no sloppiness. He also went above and beyond when it came to prepping the area. Before he got started, Nelson took great care to tape and mask off all nearby surfaces, so there was no overspray or mess to worry about. That level of care and professionalism really stood out. He also patched and textured the walls in areas where the old banisters had been removed, and you would never know there was any work done there. The patched areas blend in flawlessly with the surrounding wall, both in texture and paint color. Throughout the entire process, Nelson kept us fully informed. He let us know when he would arrive, when he was wrapping up each day, and gave regular updates on progress. It's refreshing to work with someone who values communication and follows through on every promise. He quoted us a fair and competitive price for the work, and we felt we received incredible value given the high level of quality and care he put into everything. Aside from his obvious skill, Nelson is just a genuinely kind and sincere person. It's clear that he takes a lot of pride in his work, and he wants your project to look amazing. If you're looking for a painter who is talented, trustworthy, and truly invested in doing great work, I wholeheartedly recommend Nelson at Grey House Painting. He'll make your home look its absolute best.
