The outside of the Dormont location, which is located by the large CVS on West Liberty.

This review is for the Dormont location, which doesn't seem to be listed on Yelp. I have passed the South Side and Dormont locations so many times and never would have considered visiting. First, because to be completely honest, the South Side location looks a little sketchy from outside appearances. Second, because I didn't really understand the services. I have a monthly massage membership at another provider and find that valuable for self-care, but never thought of a foot-specific massage. Well, today a friend tells me that she goes here and it is an absolute delight. I have been having some feet issues recently with tight calves and arches, and I am very active which is just aggravating the issues. I thought, why not give this a try? I showed up at the Dormont location with no appointment and asked if he could take a walk-in. I was the only customer at the time, and took a pair of the shoes provided at the door, leaving mine behind. He showed me a menu of services, which included packages of body and foot massages for various lengths of time at prices of about a dollar a minute which is incredibly fair. I had already planned on just a 30-minute foot massage so chose that option. I couldn't imagine spending more than 30 minutes on just my feet, but I would absolutely do 60 in the future, or one of the combinations. This was a wonderful self-care experience. The place is very tranquil and clean, and my provider placed a sterile gauze type of cover over the reclining seat to which he showed me for my service. I appreciated that touch. The service started with a warm foot bath, after which I pretty much closed my eyes and enjoyed the experience, which used massage and reflexology techniques very different from my regular massage provider and was absolutely heavenly. Your feet through calves are included, and the experience finishes with a lotion application. It was fantastic and wonderfully relaxing. My friend mentioned that South Side was cash only, but I didn't see any mention of that here nor an ATM machine so I took a chance pulling out my credit card to pay, and my provider mentioned there was an ATM around the corner inside the shop. I took out $40 for my $30 service and certainly wasn't going to ask for change from my tip, especially when you consider that he is spending his days dealing with peoples' feet, so I tipped the full 10. I really enjoyed it here and will be back!

He was knocked out in 10 minutes.

From the outside, this place looks like any drab Brooklyn bodega. To an untrained eye not accustomed to seeking out storefront massage parlors, the grimy red awning is virtually invisible among the artisanal pizza shops and dispensaries. Stopped in the Dormont location with the hubby for an impromptu rub-a-dub-dub and left feeling like noodles! In a good chicken phó noodle soup kinda way . For centuries, reflexology has been considered a place to get your spiritual and physical healing on. This place doesn't have an extravagant list of services -- mainly foot and body massage. Normally, these types of therapies are performed by a licensed masseuse, but anyone can really practice these techniques. They rolled, pushed, and squeezed all the areas that were requested. They were operating as a legitimate business but it definitely seemed like one of those "happy ending" places. We weren't quite ready to leave after our hour foot reflexology so we added a 30 minute body massage that was definitely worth the $150 ticket +tip!

After the foot soak, they wrap your feet in a towel.

On a scale of romance novels to documentaries, Happy Feet Reflexology is Eat, Pray, Love. It's an absolute getaway with an escape to yourself. When I first visited, I didn't even have a chance to open the door myself because a gentleman was there to open the door and greet me and my friend. More recently, I arrived with my partner when all the employees were busy. We were greeted and seated. To note, they encourage no conversation, and you will be shushed if you talk too much (which honestly made me chuckle). On the plus side, the quiet was so therapeutic, and I definitely recommend the 30-minute foot massage. They start you off with a foot soak and then the massage includes vaseline. The final minutes of the massage incorporate hot stones. All in all, if you're looking for a walk-in massage, Happy Feet Reflexology is ready for you. They always try to upsell me on a chair massage or something else. Pro Tip: Take cash (they only take cash) or you can use their ATM.

This place Fantastic!!! If you have an extra 35 to spare go on treat yourself to a relaxing rejuvenating experience. It always seems filled with relaxed patrons enjoying their massage so call first to reserve your time. Big wide comfy chairs that lay almost flat A hot water foot bath is the start Followed by the most delicious foot massage in ahhhing as I type this it feels so good They push so good and hard all the right spots on your feet Finished off with a mini shoulder massage Relaxing spa music plays The place was so sweet this past week with a beautiful Christmas tree Please ssssshhhh when you walk in and please turn off your phone They know what they are doing here and the price is right I'll keep coming back

You can clearly see the Visa and Mastercard symbol on the business card, I took off the counter.

The massage was wonderful. I'd give it a 5 star... I've been a long time customer until Covid occurred. Today was my first time there since, and I'm a bit disappointed. 1. No one working at the time I was there spoke English. Not a big deal, but definitely made the initial and financial transactions complicated. 2. The language barrier was a natural up-sale expectation. 3. The business card and multiple signs in the shop have a Visa and Mastercard logo, but they don't accept them. When pointed this out. We had a language barrier. Then directed to the ATM, which has a sure charge and my bank surcharge. 4. The ATM only gives specific increments of $20's. No problem, but again the communication issues became an opportunity for them to attempt a $10+ tip for a 30 minute massage. I requested change and was asked how much? I said $10. The gentleman gave me $5. I repeated $10. He spoke with another person there, and that persons tossed 5 dollar bills on the counter. Don't plan to return. That much effort, fees, and frustration isn't worth my time. Don't plan to return!

Very relaxing setting.

Calling all feet! Males and females alike. Your cries and pleas are being heard by the wonderful staff at Happy Feet. So walk yourself right into this delightful spa for the best experience and treatment you so deserve! They stress walk-in service over scheduling an appointment, but are ready to call in for back up staffing in order to meet the needs of their customers if necessary. Upon entering the serene surroundings, you will immediately be drawn into all they have to offer. Perhaps a quick fix, or a much deeper, more relaxing and rejuvenating massage is in order. Originally, one hour seemed too long for a foot massage but I soon came to find out that this experience transcends time and I ended up regaining full consciousness right before the session was about to end. So soothing and delightful! I was very happy with the staff's dedication to their customers needs, the peaceful surroundings, and the way in which they make your experience one you would want to have again and again.

Runnnnnn to this place, don't walk. It is just the perfect amount of sketchiness from the outside that made me look it up and once I read the reviews I went to check it out myself. I got the $55 30 min foot and 30 minute back combo. It was divine and I will come here every time I am in Pittsburgh.

Magical/Modern Chinese relaxation ambiance. Touch campy in a style that whisks you away from the harsh realities of : the south side. I've given this place as a gift to every grandma aged person I know... and everyone I love (sometimes it pays to only have a few friends!) I love it. If you get the hour in the chair ($35 plus tip) they soak your feet, rub your neck and shoulders... Your arms your hands your legs... Then they sit down and focus on those dang feet! They massage your calves toes arch heel. Soothing and strong. Some ancient twisting and pulling that feels as though they have some secret way to massage your feet right off your body. The stag are so kind and STRONG. Hands of the gods. A good place to practice your Mandarin/Chinese OR enjoy peaceful exchange where English is limited. (Who doesn't need a break from English) Ps I went to a new Chinese foot place in Squirell hill. Not at all as good/charming/special. The owner admitted straight up she took the idea from Happy Feet! If your Lucky: and smart: You will choose Happy Feet. Pps. I sometimes forget to bring cash for tip but that is preferred.

We were seated in the foot massage chairs, which were super comfortable and were treated to a hot foot soak.
