I went to their 18th St. location and the door was locked, so I called them and they said to go down to 22nd St. I walked in and there were about 5 people getting foot and back massages in the open room. They told me to sit down and take off my shoes and gave me a hot water bucket to place my feet into while I waited. About 15 minutes later, I was paired up with one of their massage therapists and got an amazing foot massage in the open room and body massage in a private room. The foot massage was pretty good, but the body massage was out of this world and SO relaxing. She dug her fingers and elbows into my back and neck, and threw some hot stones in too. I stopped into Happy Feet Reflexology on a Sunday afternoon without an appointment. When I walked in, there was only one other person and he was getting a chair massage. The space itself was quiet and inviting. I opted for a 60 minute foot massage. Not only do they focus on your feet, they massage your calves and shins too. At the end of my massage, I sat up and the employee massaged my shoulders, arms, and back too (for as long as the foot massage but still a nice way to end the treatment). This review is for the Dormont location, which doesn't seem to be listed on Yelp. I have passed the South Side and Dormont locations so many times and never would have considered visiting. First, because to be completely honest, the South Side location looks a little sketchy from outside appearances. Second, because I didn't really understand the services. I have a monthly massage membership at another provider and find that valuable for self-care, but never thought of a foot-specific massage. Well, today a friend tells me that she goes here and it is an absolute delight. I have been having some feet issues recently with tight calves and arches, and I am very active which is just aggravating the issues. I thought, why not give this a try? I showed up at the Dormont location with no appointment and asked if he could take a walk-in. I was the only customer at the time, and took a pair of the shoes provided at the door, leaving mine behind. He showed me a menu of services, which included packages of body and foot massages for various lengths of time at prices of about a dollar a minute which is incredibly fair. I had already planned on just a 30-minute foot massage so chose that option. I couldn't imagine spending more than 30 minutes on just my feet, but I would absolutely do 60 in the future, or one of the combinations. This was a wonderful self-care experience. The place is very tranquil and clean, and my provider placed a sterile gauze type of cover over the reclining seat to which he showed me for my service. I appreciated that touch. The service started with a warm foot bath, after which I pretty much closed my eyes and enjoyed the experience, which used massage and reflexology techniques very different from my regular massage provider and was absolutely heavenly. Your feet through calves are included, and the experience finishes with a lotion application. It was fantastic and wonderfully relaxing. My friend mentioned that South Side was cash only, but I didn't see any mention of that here nor an ATM machine so I took a chance pulling out my credit card to pay, and my provider mentioned there was an ATM around the corner inside the shop. I took out $40 for my $30 service and certainly wasn't going to ask for change from my tip, especially when you consider that he is spending his days dealing with peoples' feet, so I tipped the full 10. Agree with prior reviewer about need for improvement on 1813 E Carson St location. We called a few hours in advance for one hour massage for two people and were told to go to new location. When we showed up, only one lady was there who spoke no English. She kept saying "calling" (calling for second masseuse?) but finally got us set up with foot baths. Ultimately she ended up doing both of our massages sequentially after 30 min and no other masseuse showing up. While it was very good, we were there for nearly 2.5 hours! Luckily we had time, but three other people came in while we were there. One guy was sent down the street, but the other couple was oddly content to sit and wait for over an hour in rapidly cooling foot baths until she was done with us. I will say it didn't feel like the normal reflexology experience that I'm used to but they did an hour foot/leg massage. The last ten minutes they had us sit up and they gave us a back massage. There were two women working, we did get interrupted twice because the phone rang and then they had a walk-in they had to accommodate. After visiting Happy Feet, I am happy to say that this business will be in my regular rotation of self-care locations. The pricing is very fair. For 30 minutes of massage and 30 minutes of reflexology, I only paid $55. I was so surprised at how affordable the services were and how hospitable the staff was. My masseuse did not speak much English, I don't think much of the staff does. This gave the business a peaceful, quiet atmosphere. As soon as I came in, I was invited to sit down and was greeted with a warm foot bath. After biking aimlessly around the city, the steaming hot water was exactly what my feet needed! I was also offered a mini bottle of water. The masseuse proceeded to apply the right amount of pressure to both of my legs and feet, working out all the knots in my muscles. After my 30 minutes of reflexology, I went to a back room where I was given a moment of privacy to undress and lay on the massage table. The massage wasn't the best I had, but it did the job. Hot stones were also integrated towards the end of my massage for no additional cost. If this was solely for MY experience and THIS location (1813 Carson), I would like to rate it with 1-star. However, I know that businesses do get affected by these ratings so I will give them 4-stars, hoping that someone relays the review and they improve from it. This review is for their satellite location at 1813 E. Carson. My family and I made an appt in the morning for an 8PM 2-hr massage each. The very friendly lady (limited English) told me to come to their new location 1813 because it will be better. My kids and husband all walked out of there feeling ok about their experience, not the best massage but still felt like it served it's purpose. I had the one person who was not in uniform as my masseuse. I believe she was the friendly lady who took my call. (Maybe the manager? owner?) She was so friendly but she is NOT a masseuse. She is a very strong, friendly lady. During the first hour (foot massage) she just kept slathering lotion and petting my legs. She didn't hit a single reflexology point and the bright disco spotlights were blinding me even with my eyes closed. When I realized she was also doing my 1hr body massage, I made it a point to say that she can put more pressure, that I can take a deeper massage. She asked what part of my body was hurting... I specifically told her LOWER BACK, sciatica, shins and calves (which she should have worked on the first hour)... She pushed my upper arms for about half of the massage and in between, she pushed her weight into my hip BONES. When I directed her to my lower back, she said that she'll get to it when I get on my side. The last 3-5 min, she had me in strange wrestling poses with "my arm lodged between her legs" and cracked my back. Never worked on my lower back. My guess was that a 4th masseuse could not be scheduled so she filled in but I left more tense, irritated and violated by the time 2hrs was up. My husband still tipped everyone $20 each because of the time we spent in there but as a regular massage patron, I know that I did NOT get a massage. The lady is so perfect for greeting and being friendly, I think she should stick to that role and ONLY allow trained masseuses and masseurs work on the clients. FYI, other things that could use a little attention: 1. Music is too loud (lady turned it UP at one point) 2. Their phones were dinging with the extra loud alert throughout the 2 hrs 3. 2 ladies working on my girls were fighting or loudly arguing? 4. Most importantly: everything done to one side of the body SHOULD BE REPEATED ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BODY. I have seen this place and never stopped in before. I didn't want to leave!! It was quiet with low lighting and if I could I would come here every night! I chose the combo of feet and full massage. You sit in the recliner individual beds and they bring a warm bucket of water for your feet. Remember to wear pants you can easily roll up! They then come and dry your feet and they massage your feet and calves. Heaven!!! This is not like a pedicure, they use techniques that are very different and finish off with warm steam towels and stones. I then moved into a back room for a full body massage. You start face down and they do a dry massage through a towel in your back and should area. Once your body has warmed they remove the towel and use traditional oil. The attendant was so strong and really used her thumbs and arms to move the knots I had. It was a great stretch and feeling to have her work in me but it is not a "relaxing" time if you are tense. They move and work your legs and have you turn over and massage your scalp and thighs. It was so nice and I almost fell asleep! I hated that it was over! It cost $85 plus gratuity. *Update* My bf and I visited last evening for a 60 minute foot massage and had a very different experience. We won't EVER go back and caution others to reconsider as well. Throughout the hour, I cringed and pulled away because of pain that the employee was causing me. Each time I did, she laughed. I thought maybe I was just really tense since I've been working out more which made me tender, but this morning I woke up with bruising on my shoulders and scabs on my scalp. When we first started, she was digging her nails into my scalp scratching incredibly hard and it was painful, I pulled away and she forcefully pushed my head back on the pillow and laughed. The entire experience was incredibly painful instead of enjoyable and looking back on it, I wish I would have got up and left. The end of the massage finished with her using the towel to wipe off my legs and dropping them onto the bench. Each time she did, she laughed. Then the final part of the massage she was squeezing my shoulders, it was incredibly painful so I asked if it was supposed to hurt that bad... she bent over and laughed in my right ear and then did it twice more. That's where I have the bruising this morning. Throughout the entire hour, the woman working on me and the man working on my bf were carrying on with one another and laughing and giggling nonstop. I correlated her laughs to when I was in the most pain, what I didn't know until we left was that the same thing was happening to my bf. It was incredibly awkward for us, unprofessional and distracting. I was so thankful that it was over and while we were paying I noticed the woman refold our towels, place them back on the ottoman for the next person. That is a huge sanitation concern for me. I started a new workout routine and have been really sore and achy. I needed some relief. When we arrived, we were greeted at the front door where we removed our shoes. I wasn't expecting to walk right into the same room as the massages were occurring so didn't know to be super quiet. There were maybe 10 chairs total and when we arrived, there were 2 waiting for us and 2 more empty. The space is tranquil and quiet and the chairs are very comfortable. We were guided to our chairs which were secluded from the others. We were covered with towels. We rolled our jeans up to our knees and were brought a warm foot bath with fresh flowers. While our feet were soaking we were treated to a massage of the face, the pressure points of the forehead, inner eyes and temples were the main focus. Then the masseuse moved to my scalp, ears and neck. He then worked on my shoulders. Then he massages each arm and hand. He thoroughly massages my feet and legs and then did a hot stone massage on each. I thought I was done, but he sat me on the ottoman portion of the chair and massaged my entire back and shoulders. It was absolutely a different massage style than I'm used to, I usually get a Swedish massage or hot stone. This seemed to be more geared towards trigger points in the body. Immediately after leaving, I didn't seem to have much relief from the pain I was having. After getting home, I was absolutely exhausted. Like couldn't get off the couch for hours, which I'm assuming is from the massage, but I woke up and feel so good! The gentleman that I had used a bit more pressure than I'm used to or I was just extremely tender to begin with, but I trusted that he knew what he was doing and am so thankful that I did! It basically ends up being a full body massage, without undressing or laying on a massage table. It also was less awkward than a regular massage can be. We were a little unsure of what would happen throughout the houseand the entire thing was done without any communication between the masseuse and myself, but now that I know what to expect, I think the next time will be even more relaxing! Happy Feet Reflexology was very lovely. The Space is interesting as when you walk in your standing in the foot massage room. The seats are absolutely comfortable, and the 30-minute foot massage was delightful. I did get the 60-minute full body massage it was too very nice. My only complaint is that my massage therapist had cigarette breathe. If your looking for a nice foot massage on the affordable side, this place is the right place. read more

We had a party of five to get feet and body massages. Because it was Mother's Day weekend (that Saturday, May 8, 2021) we made an appointment for 1:00 PM. Well, they obviously didn't honor appointment times, because when we arrived for our appointment the place was booked to capacity and people were still walking in and waiting. If that wasn't bad enough, one of the technicians that was monitoring the desk, had an "oh well" attitude when we informed them that we had a scheduled 1:00 appointment. Not sure how many people left, but $500 just walked out the door when we left. read more
