Dear Artistic Dental Team,…read more I am writing this review to share my appreciation for the exceptional care I have received at your office. I typically only leave reviews when I am truly impressed. I feel it is important to recognize the outstanding experience I've had. I love this dental office. Everyone is incredibly friendly and kind, not only to patients but to one another. Everyone is knowledgeable in what they do. Dr. Dougherty is fantastic; he is knowledgeable, patient, and truly listens. It is wonderful to see how much respect he shows his employees, and the quality of his work is consistently excellent. After experiencing many dental nightmares since I was eight years old, I am so grateful I found Artistic Dental through Reddit. Dr. Dougherty and the entire staff have completely renewed my trust. I have been a patient for a while and I'm definitely not going anywhere. Thank you to the entire staff for everything! It is obvious that you are a team! Best regards, Sherry

The dental hygienist and front desk worker reassured her that what was being done would be covered. Then they tried to bill her over $300 for services. The front desk worker called regarding the payment to which my wife said she didn't feel comfortable paying for services that were declined and agreed upon. The worker said she'd speak with the dentist. Days later she received a voicemail from the front desk lady admitting to it being her fault for not checking what was covered. Days later the office sent a break up letter saying how it's best for both the office and my wife to not continue their patient practice relationship. Not our fault your worker relayed incorrect information and were trying to charge more then was agreed. Otherwise the cleaning was through.

I put some headphones on and she was very gentle ( yeah I know still getting a tooth pulled) with it but before I knew it we were done. I got a few more things I need to go back and get done but I feel like I'm not getting taken advantage of.

Personally I always dreaded going to the dentist as my childhood dentist caused me so much trauma. I avoided both doctors and dentists like the plague. Good thing I happened to be searching Yelp and found the best reviews of this place. I arrived with so many nerves, but left there feeling so happy and grateful that I found Dr. Catalina and her staff. The staff are professional, helpful and follow all protocols to protect their patients health and safety. I come from a family background of folks in the medical field and know proper protocols for patient health and noticed each individual make the proper decisions to follow health safety and sanitation guidelines. I was impressed at how they handled each task and how Dr. Catalina herself made me feel at ease, confident and comfortable in the chair. I couldn't believe it, but yes.. now I regularly attend dental appointments and know that when I step into her office, I will be taken care of and welcomed. I feel transformed and love by Dr. Catalina and her staff. From the All-Knowing Receptionist to the Hygienist to the Boss and everyone in between! I absolutely recommend Aesthetic Dental to everyone and anyone. Subsequently and sadly, I recently lost dental insurance and the staff let me know there are affordable cash rates so I could still attend so I'll be seeing them again in a few short months. Thanks Catalina and Staff for your superior service and care!

I had to have dentures placed and he was so gentle and did such an amazing job surgically that my recovery was unbelievably quick and not nearly as painful as I had anticipated. He had to remove all my remaining teeth due to a medication I was on for 6 months that caused my teeth to become brittle and break at the gum line. I did not have one bruise, or even the slightest swelling. He is THAT GENTLE and is truly exceptional in his technique. I will always recommend this wonderful amazing dental group. Biltmore Commons has asked me to leave a review. I cannot in good faith say anything nice about…read morethis place. I am new to the area and was recommended to this practice. My old practice was a single dentist, a few dental assistants and a receptionist. You spend your entire visit with the dentist and he provides you an honest summary of your visit. The total visit is under a half hour. Biltmore Commons has 6 Dentists and at least that many dental hygienist and more dental assistants and receptionists. You spend the majority of your visit with your hygienist and about 2 minutes with the dentist. Because there is so much overhead you get a Spirit Airlines experience where you are constantly getting upsold nonsense. The hygienists are more like used car salesmen than people who clean your teeth. I have been to this place twice and they have tried selling me laser treatment ($100) night guards ($800), Invisilign, a Waterpick ($120), an additional cleaning, and they were going to try to sell me an electric toothbrush if I didn't already have one. The hygienists don't give up the entire visit until you say yes to something. The dentist never says you need any of these things. I never went through with any of these scams. And I will not be going to Biltmore Commons ever again. My first visit was 2 hours (with x-rays) and my second was almost an hour (without x-rays). I have a life and my time is not valued. My recommendation is to find a dentist with less overhead where they can pay for their practice with just regular dental work and not ancillary products.
