My friend and I stopped by this restaurant for lunch after we walked around the zoo for a few hours. We were here around 11am. There were only a few stores open at that time but I guess many stores opened at 1130am. Since it's open, we went in to place our orders. The place was welcoming. The person who took our order had a mask in and bottles of sanitizers were available at the counter. After we ordered, we went out to sit at our table. After about 10 minutes, the food was served. I ordered the Diablo chicken sandwich and it delivered the heat as promised. The chicken was fresh and the fries were cooked to crispy outside and creamy inside of perfection. My friend ordered chicken wings. We plan to come back to support this business again.

Buffalo (left) and Thai chili wangs

Wings, or wangs, as I affectionately cluck them, are right there on the Top Ten, if not Top Five, on my Soul Food list. I'm certainly not ashamed to put them alongside scallops, paella, ramen, artichokes; wangs are, when executed correctly, a symphony unto themselves, balancing crisp and tender, salt and cream, tearing first with incisors, moving everything to the molars, the roof of the mouth hot, hotter, burning, and all of that sauce all over the fingers, lips, cheeks. I indulge in wang sessions regularly, and I can confidently state that this local contender to slay all them corporate competitors does, indeed, more than measure up, so if you're a wang dude or dudette, yee haw. There's a lot more happening on the menu around here, sandwiches and such, and interesting Asian takes, like pot stickers, but I doubt I'll ever venture beyond wangs and these tasty sauces: classic Buffalo, Garlic/Soy, Caribbean Jerk rub (not bad), and Cluckin' Hot, a Thai/Laos inspired heat bomb, delicious. The owner, also an Asian guy, is friendly and outgoing, and apparently he's looking to throw in even more Eastern influences to this menu, always a great idea. During temperate weather, plan to eat outdoors, or hustle up a pint at the tap room. They'll deliver, and so will your wang fest.

    Aden's tofu bowl!

When my friend said he was craving either wings or Asian cuisine, I immediately thought - Happy Chickenzz! Chef Tony's Laos-inspired sauces and chicken dishes are unforgettable - his garlic soy sauce is my fave and oh man, the Cluckin' Hot sauce (Laos/Thai-inspired) will make you sweat while you chow down on some wings. Aden's tofu or chicken bowl is my favorite. It comes with steamed rice and papaya salad, but I also make a special request - add noodles!! Tony is awesome and so friendly - he has given me suggestions on Asian cooking and on a few random occasions, he happened to be preparing food for an event that he was catering and he shared some with me. I am all for supporting small, local businesses...if you are in need of a hot wings fix, you must check out Happy Chickenzz!

    El Diablo with fries!

Pretty good spot! Had the Diablo fried chicken sandwich with fries. Food came out fast but not too fast. Chicken sandwich was decent, not mind blowing. Cooked all the way through, could have sat in the fryer for a few minutes longer to give it a better crunch. The "hot sauce" they put on it wasn't that hot but still tasty. Fries were ehh and served with some hidden valley ranch. Could be a 5 star place if they tuned some things up. Overall a good experience with friendly and helpful staff

Enjoying the Fried Chicken Sandwich on National Fried Chicken day. My wife is trying the Lao Inspired chicken salad. A good helping. This small shop is just right in the El Vado plaza. Great service and it seems their friends come by so, so it's a local spot ppl like it seems as we were referred from the downtown farmers market to check out El Vado plaza for grub

Very small restaurant you will have to eat outside or take to go. The food was very good. I had a chicken sandwich and would go back in a heartbeat. Fries were subpar compared with the chicken sandwich.

I've been on a mission to try every restaurant at the new El Vado area and this was today's pick. The staff was very friendly and attentive and we were able to place our order quickly. I ordered the chicken sandwich which comes with fries which have some sort of Cajun seasoning on them! While they are good, they are also a bit spicy! The chicken sandwich was also pretty good! It was the right amount of crispy buttermilk breading! The only issue I had is that I felt there was a lack of seasoning on the actual chicken before it was fried! Aside from that, it was a hearty meal and absolutely worth what I paid for it! I would for sure come back and most likely try their wings!

This was our first time here and I really enjoyed it! The El Vado Club was awesome! It wasn't packed because of the time we stopped by so that made the experience even more better. The help was great and there is plenty of seating for all of the businesses here. We will be back for more!

Food took forever to be served. Kitchen staff forgot our order and tried to give it to another customer for FREE. When we did receive our food you can clearly tell everything was frozen. No taste very bland. Very disappointed. For $30 I'd rather have gone to KFC.

We went with the Korean Chicken bites, the Margarita Flatbread, & the green chilli cheeseburger. The Chicken bites were terrible. Taste wasn't great at all, they were very very fried, but not in a good way. I love some good crunchy fried chicken but these just were not it! The flavor, the texture, none of it was right. The Margarita Flatbread was med. Taste was pretty good, but it was soggy and didn't hold up well at all. That said it was the best of the 3 things we did get. Unfortunately, that's not saying much..... The burger was okay also. Not bad by any means, but nothing special at all either....considering there's a burger place next door I thought the burger would be able to compete with the neighbor, but trust me if you want a burger, go next door! They don't put sauce on it at all, no nothing. Just straight up patty, cheese and bun. Only my 6 year old cousin eats like that.....I did add some mayo and ketchup, which helped, but still not a great burger.... The bun didn't add much for us either, even though it was baked in house with green chilli....A simple brioche would be better imo... The fries with the burger were actually the best single item of the experience. Their fries are really good! So good that I was going to eat every single one of them but instead my waiter just came and took my plate before I had finished the last 10 or so. No are you finished yet, or anything, just grabbed it, turned and left. I was so shocked I didn't even have time to say I'm not done with that. He left the crummy chicken bites we weren't eating though..... LOL Seriously don't touch my plate unless it's empty, or you ask first! Since it was a small amount I let it slide and didn't reduce his tip because the rest of the service was actually pretty good overall..... I definitely 100% will not be back here though, there's much better food in the area.
