Oh the JOY of another ARC, and one closer to me! This one opened April of 2019, and I love it!…read more This coming from the consummate thrift store shopper. Great deals on amazing items to be had. I go on Sat., 50% off most tags day. I always find something, might not be on my list, but always something. I especially like the layout, its is easy, large signs designate the areas and clothes are by size AND color, so easy! We often find brand new, tags still on clothing or items like the hydration pac my husband found today. We have found brand new, never worn pants and jeans for him as well. This place is the best for fake florals, especially if using outdoors. My score today included the exact pillow that matches one I already have for my bed, SWEET!, and a cute little RAE DUNN vase for a dollar! This has been my go to thrift store for many years, and so thrilled to discover the ones here in CO.

Your prices are ridiculously high make no sense at all. You have shelves and shelves of flower…read morevases, most of which are crap that came with delivered flowers. They're worth virtually nothing, yet you're charging $3.79 and similar. Put the crap on the lower shelves and charge $0.25, $0.50, $0.99. Have the things that are actually nice on the upper shelves. But don't charge 379 for a used vase unless it's actually of some value. Your employees don't wear name tags. The 20 something rude man needs to be fired. You know who I mean. Far too many of your items are broken. I constantly find empty boxes or containers because the items have been removed and stolen. People rip open bags of multiple items and take out what they want, obviously not paying for them since they don't have price tag on them, leaving a partially full bag hanging there. You have a severe stealing problem. I could go on and on about this ARC Longmont. There is zero security in this place and it needs it, desperately. I'm done donating and shopping here.

It was an amazing feeling to be falsely accused of smoking a vape pen after I spent $60 here. My…read moreboyfriend paid and as we left, a rainbow-haired human with a mission said "please don't do that in here". I said, " do what?" He said, "I saw smoke come out of your mouth!" I emptied out my pockets for him and he stormed off cursing me out. (I understand there are two rainbow-haired employees but you will know which one I'm talking about. ) What a stable human you have that decides to confront a person as they've spent money immediately after they've said goodbye to their friendly cashier. I hope this person is just as embarrassed as me. The other employees were caught off guard and looked confused like this happens all the time. Please put this person back in the sorting room where they can take out their anger on inanimate objects. I come here once a week while I'm doing laundry. This used to be my safe space. I love the sweet little older ladies that baby the heck out of me and I would NEVER vape inside any establishment. Do better please.

Inside the place looked nice and clean. The stuff was organized well. I even found a few shirts I liked. Grabbed them and headed to check out. That's where it went downhill. The employee checking me out didn't seem personable at all. I handed over the shirts and said "Here are the hangers, you probably want them." "Not really" he replied and tossed the hangers behind him. He then scanned my tags and stood there quietly. I assumed he was ready for me to pay. I scanned my card and he just stood there. I grabbed my stuff and headed out. Most non interaction I have ever had. I guess you go there for the stuff and not the experience.

She knew this and visited the store, as she usually does with her friends. This time however, she asked a couple of people if she could use the restroom, yet. One said they didn't know where the key was, one said they were out of order and one, particularly disrespectful, young person who was working at about noon on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, said, "You shouldn't be looking to go to the bathroom in this place anyway, LADY." This was kind of a outing - ritual place for some ladies to get together and look at all the new merchandise and find gifts and cards, etc. No matter what kind of customers your stores think they may be attracting, none of them deserve to be spoken to in such a disrespectful manner. The good staff and district manager, who have actually spoken to some of these ladies in the past, and been told how much this store keeps merchandise more organized, the aisles clean and has always had such kind people employed there, will understand that this particular group of ladies will not be bothering any of you with their custom, since some of your staff seem to think it is an imposition to address a problem with a bathroom broken for at least a month, and taking out their frustrations, whatever they may be, on some people who may be having a crisis of their own and REQUIRE A RESTROOM. And from me personally, your staff should remember that especially your elderly customers deserve an even higher standard of service. I certainly hope this particular employee gets some much needed training or finds a job that requires such an attitude.....perhaps with absolutely no contact with other humans.
