It fills the local coffee void, it's one of the only ones around (Dunkin' Donuts is nearby). Ambiance: The cafe is small and has simple decor. There are pops of aqua colored (but a little dated) furniture and space-themed wall decor. Multiple seating options are available including tables, high tops, and love seats. The layout is a little peculiar. For instance, love seats face awkwardly face the wall. A little table in front of the love seats would make more sense and provide a better setup. The cafe was very quiet when I visited (around 10 AM) with only one customer dining at the cafe with his laptop. Food/Drinks: Food and drink menu is pretty expansive. Food options include bragels, pretzel minis, and muffins. Drink menu features lattes, hot chocolate, tea lattes, energy (Red Bull mocktails), sweet foam cold brew, coffee, Red Eye, crème freeze, and ice coffee. Check out their seasonal menu for options like Campfire Latte and Blackberry Bolt Mocktail. There is definitely sweet emphasis at this cafe, they try to offer sweet foam on all drinks. You can also buy limited merchandise in store such as cold and hot coffee mugs. I ordered Cold Brew (black, no additives and no foam) and Bragel (with ham, bacon, cheese, and cream cheese on Asiago bagel). My total was a little over $10, which seemed pretty economic considering that I purchased 24 oz coffee. Cold Brew was too diluted and contained too much ice. Bragel was not as plump as at other coffee shops. It was dry, and seemed to use lower tier ingredients. For instance, bacon was a tiny sliver and ham very thin cold cut. I did not enjoy either menu item. But I was also mentally comparing them to the other coffee shops that I frequent. I appreciated that cup sizes were standing right next to the checkout so one can make an easy size decision. Service: Service was lightning fast. I received my order within minutes. I was the only customer in line. I was warmly greeted upon my arrival. When I announced that it was my first time there were really no attempts made to introduce me to the menu. Still I thought the service was very prompt and attentive. Ordering options: Ordering is available online, in the drive thru, and in person. I couldn't figure out how to place an order online, it didn't lead me to checkout or allowed me to add items on the web version. It wasn't user-friendly. I appreciated that every item had nutritional information online and ingredients/customization. As far as the drive thru, there were no clear in/out indicators. Hours: The cafe is open 6 AM - 7 PM, which are very customer-centric hours. How amazing! I didn't necessarily think that the menu cater to dinner customers well. Savings: They have rewards app. Scan a QR code while in store. Entrepreneurial resources: This cafe sells books from Biggby Co-CEO Michael McFall sold in cafe and online. There were two different books available. Parking: This cafe is located in a shopping plaza with a small parking lot. I won't be frequenting this cafe simply because I'm not a huge fan of sweet coffee drinks. It's also a little out of my way. Also, I wasn't very impressed with my order. If you're into coffee customization and quite a few drink options this cafe might be a good match.

Similar vibe to Dunkin. Most of the drinks are very very sweet and I recommend asking to halve the syrup pumps or more to taste more of the coffee. I'm not a fan of flavoring the cold brew topped with sweet foam as opposed to Starbucks' unflavored cold brew topped with a flavored sweet cream (better balance). Service needs improvement. I almost got a breakfast sandwich with a plain bagel instead of everything bagel if I hadn't pointed it out to the employee. Apparently, there was a miscommunication between the cashier and kitchen. Employees were nice.

Well if anyone wants to know why this location has two stars. Read this review and you'll…read moreunderstand. First off let me say I love Dunkin mobile ordering platform. It makes life so easy. It save previous orders and also has favorites. It saves my points and my payment method. With that said. This location stops Dunkin' from being great. I have been to probably over 20 different locations in my lifetime. And this location is having many problems. I haven't left a negative review about them because I felt it was just a small problem. But today just topped it off and I wasn't happy. So I ordered through the Mobile app approximately ten mins away from this location. On the freeway. Yes I ordered while driving. But this app is so easy with previous and favorites that it wasn't a problem. Sorry for those that won't like it. My order was the Coffee roll. With a large Frozen coffee mocha flavored. And I added the free medium coffee because it was available for free. I got to the location in ten mins but for some reason I went through the regular drive through line instead of the mobile order line. So I ended up waiting about 5-6 mins before I got to the telecom. I announced I was here for mobile order. I followed the line around the building. When I got to the window. I was asked to pull forward. My order isn't ready. What??? Not ready. It's been 20 mins since placing the order. With out hesitation I said yes no problem. Not angry at all. I wait an additional ten mins for the employee to come out and apologized for the fact the machine is not working. I explained to her that this makes the third time I have arrived in the past three weeks and told the machine is broken. She asked what else I would like. I explained I didn't want anything else. And I would like my refund of the drink. She returns and gives my credit card back. She didn't give me a receipt. For the refund. I ask her for the refund receipt. She said there is no receipt. I explained that it's a credit card transaction. According to the credit card company. All transactions must have a receipt. She keeps explaining that she can't give me one. At this point I am annoyed. I politely ask her one more time. Can I please have a receipt. She rolls her eyes. And goes in the building. She returns with the receipt. See. Not that hard. She needs better customer service skills. The coffee roll I paid for and kept. And the free coffee. The coffee roll was hard. What a darn shame. I couldn't even get a soft roll. As for the free coffee. I normally wouldn't complain about free. But since this location has failed me. The coffee was bitter. I ended up adding lots of creamer to it. To make it taste good. So to finalize this review. This location is deserving of zero stars. And now you know why it has only two stars. I'll be going elsewhere. This location won't see my money in the future.

Get a free 12 oz of coffee here with any coffee beans purchase!…read more Rising Star Roasters is my destination for a strong cup of coffee. It's by far my favorite local coffee shop chain. I frequent this location inside Van Aken Market Hall. This coffee stand is located right as you walk into the main doors of the market hall. You'll need to go to the counter, order your food and/or drinks, and wait for the order to be called (typical coffee shop experience). Wait can be a little long during peak hours but it's worth it! You can then select various seating options inside the market or outside. Various options are available inside - comfy leather-like couches, leather-like booths, individual or group tables, and high tops. Outside you'll find tables immediately outside of the Van Aken Market Hall or seasonally on the lawn. If you stop by during the right times, you'll find the district bustling with music and seasonal events. It's also always a good idea to pick up a cup of coffee then go cowork at AO or browse the local shops. The menu at this and other locations is concise and simple. You can get brewed coffee, tea, espresso, lattes, and seasonal drinks. The menu is straightforward and not confusing. My morning go-to's are usually perfectly strong iced coffees. I also always pick up something from the specials menu. All specialty drinks are very well made and consistently prepared. I have never had any drinks here that disappointed me. Small batch snacks are available at this location such as croissants and tea biscuits. I sometimes purchase a snack here or patronize other vendors at the market. All coffee beans at Rising Star are top notch. I recently learned that they have a dedicated coffee buyer who travels to coffee farms and brings coffee back to Cleveland. They're also incredibly serious about their roasting process and have a local roastery. How amazing is that especially for a local coffee shop?! You can pick up beans at their location that are named after regions of where the coffee farms are located. Each coffee bean bag has taste notes listed on the bag, choose your adventure! Coffee bean bag prices vary from $16-19. They'll roast them for you and tailor to your coffee preparation method (i.e. coffee press). If you purchase coffee beans in store, you can get free 12 oz drip coffee! You can also order them online and they'll be roasted within 48 hours of shipping. I love to explore their coffees, get something new every time. I highly recommend this location for your coffee cravings! While you're here, look out for notNeutral coffee mug - sleek, 12 oz, and must have. In the words of Rising Star, "a laser-etched Rising Star emblem adds a subtle, sophisticated touch to the side of each piece."

We were greeted by Jennifer, one of the owners, she was friendly and very helpful. We ordered from the counter and the food was brought to the table. We ordered sandwiches, I had an everything bagel with double egg and my husband opted for the USS Pennsylvania, a chicken Philly with a side of coleslaw...it was huge we had to do a double take when it arrived at the table, literally two sub buns. I put up a copy of the advertisement from their instagram sight and I could be wrong but NOWHERE does it say in store offer only! That's false advertising. Biggby customer service can't even admit when they are wrong and try to make it right! The drinks were average at best, a little bit above gas station coffee, one of my drinks was the wrong size. The food was average to bland. I placed my order at 8:45am, 2 of the sandwiches I ordered were with everything bagels and my order was excepted online and completed and I was sent an email that what I had ordered was properly completed.Once I got there to pick up my food I was informed they were all out of everything bagels a mere 3 hours after opening and there first week of being open. There wasn't even a huge line, there were 2 cars in line and I was close by and could see that they hadn't been busy. I asked for 2 Asiago bagels instead and they said ok, 5 minutes later I was told they only had 1 Asiago and the other would have to be a plain bagel. I wasn't even offered any kind of discount or apology for not having what i ordered. So the new store first thing in the morning is out of 2 of the 3 types of bagels they have and the food was very bland. Plus the waffle sausage egg and cheese sandwich was bland plus the price was higher than most and for what you get not completely worth it. Myself and my family will definitely not be customers ever again!!

Shoutout to my boss for being a good sport and agreeing to lunch with me here for my 2-hr annual performance review! I ordered the spicy crab toast $16 and lavender blueberry collagen latte $5. The toast did have enough crab meat but was skimpy everywhere else and was zero % spicy! There were 2 skinny pieces of jalapenos but no extra drizzle of red chili oil or sriracha or anything.
