I enjoy the process and within a short period began taking lessons from Ann Bruckner at The mosaic Art Loft in Sherwood. Because of the quality of the art instruction provided by Ann and her excellent staff, I've been privileged to have participated in three community art shows, and two shows at the Springs, and have sold a number of original art pieces; and still taking the occasional lesson from Ann and actively practicing and producing original multi-media art

Staff - the owner Ann and our teacher, Christina are absolutely amazing. 2 of our kiddos attended their classes for ~3 years and we loved the overall experience. Use of different medias, the overall process, availability of camps and even showcasing your kids' artwork at the local library or Art Center - are all amazing things that we experienced here. Our kids absolutely loved coming in and spending every Monday creating. COVID was a challenge for everyone, but Ann and Christina put together an amazing plan to engage with students virtually. While most extra curriculum activities (i.e. sports) were not available, Mosaic Arts Loft provided needed activity to our kids and they were looking forward to their weekly classes. If you are looking at options for your kids in the area - I highly recommend them. You will not regret and your kids will enjoy creating masterpieces that you will be able to proudly display in your home and gift to friends and families. Thank you!!!

They have everything set up for you and they have aprons available but I definitely encourage you to bring clothes you don't mind getting dirty. The instructor was great - she goes over a step by step demo and then with the whole class the instructor goes over the steps again and you end up with a piece of your choice. I ended up having time to make 3 pieces in total. Highly recommend - very fun and a nice challenge!

The space is beautiful, very clean, and well-organized. It kept my kids busy and, surprisingly, calm! The relaxing and warm environment made the experience enjoyable for both them and me. The workers have been incredibly nice and accommodating. It's so great to find a place to relax while my kids are entertained. We will definitely be back often :)

I love supporting local and wanted to take my teen for a pottery painting experience. The mugs we…read morewanted were all dirty, but we were assured the markings would burn off. At $40 it's a pricey mug! I understand it's not just the mug, but the paint, rent, kiln, staff expenses. But it meant we'd only be painting one item at that price. So we chatted happily while my teen painted the mug and I asked to color in a tiny heart on the side to fulfill my art craving. That tiny heart, using no additional supplies or brushes, cost me an additional $10. We used 2 colors, 2 brushes and required no guidance, but the final cost of the one mug, plus 2 studio fees (because I painted a tiny heart), without drinks, landed up being over $65! That's a little OTT, but it was a great memory with my teen. I hope the dirt on the mug actually does burn off- because at $65, I'd hope to have an unblemished lifelong memento.
