There is lots to choose from with all sort of different color so let your imagination wonder! We fun. We took my niece here for her bday. Good amount of tables, and they have a back room for parties too. Prices are decent for small to large crafts, and they have examples of it all. Examples are mugs / dishes, gnomes, animal dishes, all different animals, jewelry boxes, and so on. After you are finished, you turn in your project and that is where they put it in their fancy machine - takes about a week and comes out so different but super pretty! Very fun. read more

This Ceramicafe was a lot of fun. The staff is really friendly and walked us through how everything works. Some pieces are a bit pricey, but the final result makes it worth it. My girlfriend and I had a great time (I painted the fox). I'd recommend choosing a medium-sized piece to paint because they're reasonably priced and you won't get bored like you might with a huge pot or an overly complicated design. read more

Disappointed in service and professionalism. Brought my daughter here for her 17th birthday with a group of friends. We received a call that one of the items broke, and they were only willing to offer me a in-store credit or to come back and repaint. I explained over the phone that this was a birthday party, bringing one of the girls back there to repaint an item was not going to work and I would like a refund. The only response the girl on the phone would give me was that it wasn't their fault that it broke and they would not offer a refund. I told her I'd like her to talk to the manager owner. She said she would pass on my number, two weeks later and I've still not heard back. read more

I've been going here since they opened. I love them but I'm not a fan of the make over. It used to be a comfortable and spacious feeling space. Now they've crammed more tables in and it's crowded, stuffy and boxed in feeling. I never worried about bumping someone or someone bumping into me while painting. When I was there before Christmas I was terrified of accidentally bumping into someone while they were painting. I liked the vibe before the makeover. Also they need new paint brushes and to not be stingy with the paper towels. read more

Great place to come enjoy by yourself or with others! I enjoy taking my nieces here to paint. They love coming here to pick out a new animal each time to paint and bring home. I personally just come to watch and help them when they need my help. When you first walk in you get to pick what you like to paint. After you have chosen you go to the cashier and pay then you can find any open table and settle yourself in. At the table there will be water and paint brushes for you. You then go to the paint station where you can choose your colors. At the paint station it is recommended that you pick 4 colors at a time so you don't waste any paint. Make sure to squeeze small amounts on to the ceramic tile to take back to the table to use. Then the fun begins and you can paint away! There is no time limit so take your time to perfect your masterpiece! Once you are finished you bring it to the counter where you paid at and the staff will give you a receipt of when you can come back to pick up your finished product! Definitely a fun place to come on a rainy day when you can't go outside to do activities! Depending on what you pick to paint, this can be a cheap or expensive activity. read more

So cute! Took my son for a little mommy and me outing and it turned out great. They have cute ceramics from kid figurines, home decor, and dog/cat bowls! Right when we got there, the cute bubbly receptionist greeted us and helped us with the whole process while attending to a party and other customers! The experience, and service was lovely. The prices can get a little spendy for a out of the blue drop in. My son picked out a hot dog piggy bank and I got a picture frame for a little more than $60. But I seen signs for date night and thought it'd be perfect for my next visit. Specially since takeout food are welcomed! read more

Had a great time here!! Originally came in to scope it out. I was looking to make a plate with my 1 1/2 y/o daughter's handprint and I wanted to make sure they had the type of plate I wanted and if they could accommodate a stroller. Yes they did and yes, they could. Came back the next day an hour after they opened and had the place to ourselves for a bit. It was so fun, the employee was so helpful. She gave great instructions and tips because I was a fist timer. She even offered to help with the hand print. The plate came out great and I want to return and paint something for myself. Tips: If you brought a stroller like me come during less busy times. My daughter and I came mid week right after opening, there was room for her stroller but I can imagine when the tables fill up it might get a little tight. Give yourself time here!! It was so fun and relaxing, try not to rush. We were probably there a little over an hour and I could have stayed longer (but not with a toddler.) It takes a few days for them to fire your piece. I think it was about 5 days. You can pay a small fee to have it rushed and ready a couple days sooner. There are at least 3 restaurants right in the same shopping center if you work up an appetite painting. We splurged on a slice of pie from Shari's after we were done read more

Came in with a coupon. $5 off when purchase is over $25. Excited to paint with my son & my niece we arrived. Place was well space planned & decorated cute. I was really put off when I came to notice the average ceramic piece was $16-24 holy crap! I was saddened to realize that I wouldn't be able to paint with the kids without spending close to $50. Yeah I could've made the kids get an $8 plain tile but really? Who wants that when they have all these great little animals & such. So atmosphere was nice & laid back with some 80s/90s music playing in the background. Not too hot or too cold, just right temperature. Girl who worked there was Sweet. Only way we will be going back is for a planned birthday or maybe their Margarita Madness Night? Okay now it's too cold in here :) So if you are looking for smaller type pieces $3-$7 & not wanting to spend over $30 check out Mimosa Studios in Ne Portland. It's about 1/3 of the size but worth it for the smaller price tag. read more

My family and I went here on a Saturday afternoon. They have shelves of different items to paint. We each picked an item and enjoyed our time painting then left the items to get fired and picked up about a week later. I had a really bad experience here. Very poor customer service with staff that were downright rude, incompetent and poorly trained. There was no manager at the store at the time I was there even though the place was packed with parties going on in the back. It's too bad because I had been there many times before. After waiting a week for firing, one of our mugs was messed up with the clear glaze they apply. Many sharp bubbles appeared on the sides and rim of the mug, making it unsafe to drink out of. They would not give us money back and requested that we leave it for them to fix, for us to come all the way back later to pick it up (we live a distance away). They wouldn't fix it and ship it to us, gives us money back, or a free coupon. They were very unaccommodating even though they ruined a personal piece of artwork we spent 3+ hours on. Would NOT recommend. They also played Christmas music, and continued to even though we asked over 4 times to please change it to something else. It is the middle of July. read more

A little pricey but not really if you consider they: provide everything you could want or need, have a fantastic selection of ceramics to choose from, they take care of clean up and a each member of the staff had a kind attitude towards my 6yr old, busy body daughter who I kept having to remind not to dance because of all the breakables. (she was excited. :-) ) The staff were patient and kind. When she, by mistake, forgot the rules and painted the bottom of her daschunds feet, she was very very upset about it. I reassured it her that it was ok and it probably happens all the time and the staff came over and let her know that it was not a problem. She definitely made my daughter feel a lot better about the mistake. My daughter has huge self esteem issues from the 50% of the time she isn't with me, and I seriously appreciated the reassurance that the woman who worked there gave my daughter in regards to it. Definitely a MAJOR bonus, and a necessary quality to keep a fun atmosphere that encourages the littles to come and create something too! Extremely family friendly. Worth the price, for sure! We've been twice now this week and are going again next week. read more
