We've tried other mortgage companies or lenders and Steve Fitzpatrick is by far the easiest and most enjoyable professional to work with. From the first time we worked with him on a loan back in 2019, he made the process so smooth we didn't realize that the process was over - in other words, we thought it was going to be MUCH more of a headache and stressful than it was. Steve took care of everything start to finish so we didn't have to stress. We are so grateful for all his help and walking us through that first mortgage experience. Now we are working with him AGAIN on a new home and once again, we are so impressed!!! Highly recommend Steve and BEST Mortgage to anyone who wants to take the headache out of getting a mortgage, experience a streamlined process start to finish AND get the best advice in the industry! First and foremost, Brian Kenedy is a dream to work with! Not only is he extremely knowledgeable,…read morehe gently steps people, no matter how ignorant, through the mortgage process with grace and ease. I was so ignorant when I started, but by the end, when I signed the papers locking in my rate, I felt confident because I knew what I was doing. He explains every step very clearly and leads people in the right financial direction based on their income, savings, and assets. Most importantly, he saved my husband and me over 2,000 USD in origination fees. Because he works for himself, he does not have the overhead costs a bank or mortgage firm has. This means the bank pays him; you do not. Moreover, after doing several price comparisons, it was evident that the rates he landed were as good or better than other companies and banks. Don't waste your money. It pays to at least contact Brian and see what he can do for you. When we purchase our next home, we will go back to Brian. We couldn't have asked for a better deal or experience.

We went through two loans together in the past 5 weeks or so, the first one a super-rushed, 10-day-to-close loan that I was bait-and-switched into by another lender but which ultimately fell through due to low-appraisal failed negotiations, the second one being the one I closed escrow with today. You learn a lot about a person during trying times. Believe me, that first loan was a tough situation and very time-critical. Patrick pulled through for me in a time of crisis. All through both loans, Patrick consistently demonstrated commitment, expertise, steadiness, good nature, humor and wit, open communication, honesty, and leadership. He was always available for a call, even at odd hours and on weekends, and held my hand through every step of the process, which made things so much easier as a first time homebuyer. What stood out the most was his honesty and integrity. Even though he had the best rates and offers on the table, at the very last moment I received a discounted offer through my employer which was too good to beat. Patrick reviewed every competing option with me and genuinely advised that the employee discount was the better fit for my situation--even though it meant he wouldn't get my business. That level of customer care is rare, and it speaks volumes about his character. Patrick was always available for a phone call, saved me a huge amount of time and money with his guidance, and went above and beyond to make sure I felt confident in my decision. If you want someone who puts your best interest first, I can't recommend Patrick and Exhale Lending enough. He's the real deal.
