We had the absolute pleasure of having Indigo from Happily Ever Laughter at our daughter's Baptism and Birthday celebration, and she was phenomenal. From the moment she arrived, she captivated the kids' attention and kept them fully entertained and engaged. The children are still raving to their parents about how much fun they had and how much they loved her performance. Indigo was incredibly professional, stayed in character the entire time, and brought so much energy and joy to the party. The entire booking process with Happily Ever Laughter was seamless, detailed, and stress free. Kipp was an excellent professional, really wonderful, caring, and kind with the children. And was an absolute hit for the party. My 5 year old has already made her a necklace and a card to thank her. We hired Happily Ever Laughter to come to our daughter's 8th birthday party. The person, Pippa, they sent was amazing. Pippa called a few days before to clarify everything we wanted and even remained in character during the call when my daughter wanted to listen in. She arrived with an array of fun things for the party and all of the kids loved her! She even went the distance by making sure that every child had a balloon and got a chance to participate. Pippa was extremely versatile and clearly stated what she could do, including magic! Would I hire Pippa and Happily Ever Laughter again to be at our party? I can't see another future party without having them there. Extremely recommended for any party. read more

Booking was easy and it moved fast! Communication was quick, kind and effective. Once I was in touch with my performer she was communicative and flexible especially once we had to move the fun inside. She made the entire day easy and so memorable. We booked an AMAZING mermaid for 2 hours with a magic show, face painting and a dance party. She also helped wrangle the hyper kiddos for piñata and made sure everyone has a safe and fun time. We had party attendees talking about it at school afterwards. read more

Highly recommend Happily Ever Laughter! We hired them for our 6 year old's birthday at the park. Booking and communication was so easy and flexible. Marzipan was AMAZING. She did a magic show and glitter bar for about 30 kids ranging from 2-8 years old and everyone was engaging. She was so kind and attentive to everyone. We had a wonderful experience with Happily Ever Laughter for my daughter's 5th birthday party! Pippa, our magical princess, arrived on a rainbow of high energy fun. She immediately engaged the kids who were already at the party and did an amazing job including each new arrival. Pippa gave me the chance to focus on other tasks during the party while she kept all 30 kids engaged with her stories and fun-filled activities. Every time I peaked in on the fun, I would see the kids smiling, laughing and fully immersed in her magical world. I also wanted to say how much I appreciated the company being so flexible with the location. We had to change venues days before the party because of the wildfires and evacuations in Los Angeles. We had a great experience with HappilyEverLaughter for engaging 15+ kids. Right from Day 1, the team was very responsive. From enquiring about availability, to planning event details everything was explained to me in great detail. Labyrinth was gracious to handle a group of 15+ kids and keep them entertained, involved for 90 minutes. Kids had lot of fun and made beautiful memories. Magic show was very interactive. Booked "Blaise the Mermaid" through Happily Ever Laughter for my daughter's 6th birthday and I couldn't be happier with the overall service and entertainment provided! Happily Ever Laughter was very thorough with the communication pre-event and then Blaise took over the days before and day of and it was excellent and clear. My biggest compliment was how Blaise managed this large group of kids (30+) aged 2-7 for 2 hours. There were many different personalities and kids who were distracting but Blaise the Mermaid was never phased and never broke character. The kids loved the magic show and the glitter tattoos and stayed until every kid got one. She was wonderful! My daughter said it was the best part of the party. read more

Pippa came to our twins' 5th birthday party and was amazing. Her energy was engaging and contagious. My son was more enthusiastic about stomp rockets than the magician and face painting but she did a great job connecting with him and meeting him where he was at. The magic show was fun and she was able to handle the chaos of all the kids with grace and ease. She did beautiful face painting and really made sure to listen to the children. At the end of the day my daughter said "I loved the magician, she was perfect". Thank you Pippa and the folks at Happily Ever Laughter for being the best read more

Happily Even Laughter was great! Before the event, they were organized, professional (yet fun!), very communicative, and responsible. We never were wondering what was happening as they followed up as promised! For the event, Hopper was our magician for our daughter Emma's 6th birthday! We had such a great experience with Pippa and Happily Ever Laughter for my daughter's 6th birthday! It was a park party, and Pippa did an amazing job corralling the kids and keeping them entertained. We had the best time with Pippa at my daughter's 5th birthday party! She was excellent with the kids - we had some music time, met her animal puppet friends, and did face painting. I had multiple parents at the party ask where I had found such a magical fairy, Pippa was a big hit with everyone. I don't normally post reviews. However, my experience with Happily Ever Laughter for my daughter's 4th birthday party was so -- beyond -- excellent, I am compelled to share. From the time I started the booking process, the company connected with me in a meaningful way to understand my goals. I remember sharing that there would be around 30 kids, and asking "are you sure one entertainer is enough" -- their answer was an unresounding "yes, absolutely." Based on my experiences attending and hosting birthday parties, I couldn't imagine how. How? Then there was Moon. Moon, our rainbow princess. Days before the party Moon reached out to coordinate, and ask about my daughter's favorite things. I was reassured that someone was indeed coming...and that they cared enough to coordinate with a stressed party-planning parent in advance. When Moon arrived, in a blaze of glitter and glory, she was fully equipped with tools to entertain: magic show, play time w/ parachute, face paint, balloon animals. And she did. Moon took 30 kids from 1.5-7 years old, and enchanted them. They quite literally could not get enough. For the three hours she was with us, the children wanted nothing more than to bask in her presence, and experience her utter talent. They followed her around like characters from the pied piper. Towards the middle, even adults wanted to have their faces painted. **note, my daughter's utter joy at the special magical toy Moon gifted to her. In addition to the pure -- and fabulous -- entertainment, Moon helped me facilitate the flow of the party. I was stressed, and a bit over my head. Moon had my back. Moon gifted the children with magical unfettered joy, the parents with an enjoyable and entertaining break, and me, with all of the above. Thank you, Moon, and Happily Ever Laughter!! read more

I found Happily ever laughter on Google. Really liked their website and how easy it was to get a quote and choose activities. I took a chance, and am glad I did. Their customer service was great. They call and email promptly. Pricey? A bit. But kids had fun. We had Jasper as our faerie, she kept them engaged and entertained for 2 hours. We will definitely book them again. One thing I hope can be changed is the number of group activities. The website won't let you choose more than 2 group activities, the 3rd and 4th (when booking for 2 hours) have to be individual treats (like face painting or dazzle designs). I wish there was an option to choose group activities only. Other than that, 5 stars :) read more

We had an amazing experience with Happily Ever Laughter. The communication was very easy when setting up our party. Our Mermaid did a fantastic job at keeping the kids entertained the entire time. The goal was to have a fun birthday party outdoors and that I would not have to find ways to entertain the little guest. She succeeded. We paid extra to have her stay 30 minutes longer to do a crowing ceremony for the birthday girl along with cut the cake and take photos. It was so worth it. Will absolutely use this company again. read more

We are so pleased with our experience for my daughter's 6th birthday. Skyla, our celebration leader, had 20+ kids captivated and engaged while playing with the parachute. She then managed the horde of children for glitter tattoos with such an impressive level of patience and cheerfulness. She truly went beyond my expectations for a birthday performer and made my daughters special day so memorable. I recently (prior Coronavirus) hired Happily Ever Laughter for my son's third birthday. They made it so easy, and I was actually able to have an adult beverage and *gasp* enjoy my child's birthday. Everything from beginning to end was amazing! I reached out to them online and was able to chat with a real live "secrefaerie." Cute, right? They helped me choose activities that would be age appropriate for a bunch of rowdy 2-5 year old kids. Then, a couple days prior to our party, we received a call from Miss Eris, our Super Bubble Ranger (think space explorer for a kid that loves rockets), to make sure she had all the details for the celebration. When Miss Eris arrived, she gathered all the friends for an amazing magic show, where she and the kids all magically made a present for my son. Then she got those little bodies moving in the cutest freeze dance I've ever seen. Before Miss Eris left in her space ship, she gave every child their very own glitter tattoo to wear home! If you've never seen these, they are sooooo neat! And they last a few days! I can't thank Fae and her flock of faeries for the gift of sitting back and watching my child enjoy his birthday with all of our friends. Thank you, thank you, thank you! read more

I highly recommend Happily Ever After! This review has been long overdue! It was my baby's 2nd birthday and we had Shadow as our Faerie! That day unfortunately, there was a block on I 580 and Shadow made it to the appointment only 15 mins late whereas most of our guests were an hour late! After spending nearly 2.5 hrs in traffic due to the road block, Shadow was super quick and took on the character like a star! I really felt bad that she got such bad traffic but Shadow was super happy to entertain the kids. She did not show any frustration and started the entertainment as soon as she got to our venue :) She had many fun games to entertain 2 yr olds (who are otherwise so easy to get distracted) and also helped us with the cake cutting and serving the cake to our guests! She was also very kind gentle and fun with the kids! Overall we had a very positive experience and loved the way Happily Ever After communicates throughout the process! Making it less stressful :) thank you for making my baby's birthday a huge success :) read more

Fae, In response to your response: First of all, you identified on the phone as the 'Manager', yet your title on Yelp says Business Owner. You mentioned that you have talked to the owner about making an exception about not keeping the deposit and that he/she had said no. So, which one are you? Is there another owner? I'm confused. Secondly, I did mention on my review that I had NOT read the refund policy CAREFULLY. For some reason I had in my mind that applied to cancellations, not postponements. That's on me and I take full responsibility. Had I done that, I would've naturally inquired in depth in our phone conversations and probably paid the additional $30. However, my disappointment comes from a dislike of your managerial handling and business model. I happen to be in sales of engineered structures and we don't even keep a 50% deposit. Our policy is 15% in case of cancellation to cover engineering time. That is considered a fair opportunity cost %. Aside from the fact of whether I knew or not. I fundamentally disagree with the fact that your company is comfortable keeping a steep 50% for a service not rendered of an already high cost service, especially in these trying times. It is a VERY bad management decision, as every company knows that keeping a repeat customer is paramount in this business for many reasons (word of mouth, reviews, personal advertising, more business, etc.). Another reason is that I would imagine the bulk of your business is middle class families like mine and it's not an every day expense we incur. It doesn't come without effort. Your service is more expensive than the average party entertainment. You are also a niche business who stick to own characters (not Disney or well known characters that most kids want). So, to have you keep such big percentage is INDEED a big disappointment, considering there are other options for entertainment companies who do not keep such high fees. Thirdly, I would've been happy to had you keep 15% of the service fee ($45). I was not expecting for you to foot all the Op cost of losing a booking for that date, but this was NOT a cancellation, just a postponement, so you were still getting the business + that $45 fee, which would've been more than that $30 insurance fee you were charging as an option on your contract. It doesn't make ANY sense. Lastly, you offered me $25 on Yelp, but did not do so on the phone. Why not? It certainly makes your business look better online after the fact, but a bit late for me being that you had already issued me a cancellation and refunded only 50% of what I had paid you. read more

I booked the Rainbow Princess for our unicorn birthday party! We ended up having more children than initially planned so we agreed to do the magic Show and face painting only ! Princess Dawn was simply amazing and the service very professional! The costume was gorgeous and Dawn knew what she was doing! To be honest, when I saw the company almost only had 5stars, I was skeptical and wondered if comments were " selected "... well guess what! One more excellent review, from one happy mom! All my guests were super impressed and the kiddos had a great time! I loved how unique their characters/costumes are compared to the usual fake Disney characters! The set up was really nice as well. Everything looked great! THANK YOU! And parents got to enjoy their drinks while the kiddos were having fun! read more
