Nicole booked my clown to my specifications and stayed in touch till the party and was wonderful. And as for our clown ? Oh my ! Jojo ( Vanessa ) was absolutely amazing!!!! Above beyond ! Above beyond this woman was ! Not only was she very talented but she helped me out so much through the chaos. She would ask me if the kids needed gather up for this or that or cake etc .. The children and adults loved her ! She was honestly the main focus of the party. Simply amazing!!! The best ! read more

Refunded, but only after several phone calls, several messages, some text messages and a negative review.

I would not recommend this company at all. I paid my deposit and after I paid, Nicole went no contact with me. I have sent emails, made phone calls and nothing. I have the emails to demonstrate her last contact stating she accepted the deposit and then said she would send over a confirmation- which she never did even after my efforts. read more

We hired this company to do face painting/Minnie Mouse for our daughters 2nd Birthday. She arrived on time, was extremely friendly & set up quickly! She was absolutely AMAZING with all the kids, the face painting & balloon twisting she did a great job on! Then it came time for Minnie Mouse, our 2 year old was over the moon to have Minnie Mouse there!! She danced with her, let her continually hug her and our 2 year old insisted she even held her while we sang happy birthday! I couldn't have asked for a better character experience, I'd highly recommend this company for anyone looking for a character or even face painter/balloon twister. She was absolutely amazing with the kids & at what she does! read more

Today was my Granddaughter's 1st Birthday Party. It was bittersweet, we couldn't have a party which broke my heart. We called Celebration Sensation and they were able to arrange for Elmo to come out and sing and dance. This was so AMAZING, my grand baby loved him. His voice was identical as Elmos's! What a great time! Thank You Elmo for making our day very special! read more

Super bummed about my contact with this company. I put an ad on GigSalad which they quickly responded too. I responded to the ad and didn't receive a response. I called and asked what characters they had available for a Halloween themed party. She assured me she'd be able to accommodate and she'd send photos. 2 days had gone by with no contact. After 2 more calls with empty promises, I never received confirmation of any character or pictures whatsoever. She was very convincing and I had almost put all my eggs in one basket. Thank Goodness Pure Imagination Party's got me a character and although we wanted two, we at least had one for our party. I am aware it's Halloween season but I would have preferred complete honesty over dragging me out and wasting all my time. read more

I booked Celebration Sensation's service for my son's Batman-themed birthday party. I am very pleased with Batman's (Corey) appearance and the way he hosted the event. He did an excellent job entertaining the kids. The adults had fun as well. The owner, Nicole, replies promptly on my emails and is very kind to answer all the queries. This company is reliable. "Batman" even gave me a call an hour and a half before the event to assure me that he will be on the party. I definitely will book them again for future events. They are very professional and highly recommended! read more

Celebration Sensation just came through with a last minute lifesaver. I called Nicole and she picked up the phone right away, checked the calendar told me that someone would be available tomorrow and she would call me back to confirm. She called me back within 30 minutes and sent me all the details. Another company, that I will not name, I booked weeks ago and cancelled on me last minute. Cheers to Nicole and a huge thank you for saving my son's 3rd birthday party!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I will update my review after the party, but I bet Celebration Sensation will be amazing. read more

I booked the transformers characters months in advance, made the required deposit, kept ongoing communication and even received the final conformation invoice. The day of the party I decided to contact them in the morning. As soon as Nicole (the representative in charge of scheduling and booking) answered the phone I knew there was something wrong based on her confused questions regarding what characters I had asked for and if i was sure it was for that day. She stated she will call me back to confirm. Around 3 o'ock I called back because I still hadn't received an update but there was no answer. After leaving two voice messages asking for an update, Nicole returned my phone call. She apologized that she did not have someone to come perform at my sons birthday party which I had scheduled months in advance, made a deposit and received a confirmation. Nicole stated that she forgot to put it on the calendar. As you can imagine I was very upset and disappointed because I cannot understand how an ongoing conversation with deposits, not one but two deposits and a confirmation invoice with everything scheduled does not get put on the calendar; yet they don't forget to charge, they don't forget to let you know that if you cancel last minute you lose your deposit. She also stated that she had not called me back earlier Because she had been trying to get someone to come and provide the services hired. She stated that she had been contacting over 20 different companies trying to get someone to perform the Transformers which were the characters I had requested. She offer to send the characters to perform at another date for free or even at my son's school which I almost found insulting because the plan was for them to come entertain at a birthday party, not another time and not at that school which I don't even think they allow. She also offered to send someone to do face painting and balloons which was not the original plan. I was extremely disappointed and accepted the face painting- considering I needed some kind of back up plan since it was last minute. Though I appreciate her attempt to make up for her very unprofessional mistake, it does not make up for the fact that she failed to provide the entertainment originally scheduled. One of the things she said that upset me the most was that supposedly something like this had never happened and she didnt understood how it did, yet I went back to check additional reviews and apperately its not the first time this company cancels on the day of the event, according to previous reviews. I just wish i would've of seen them earlier. She did refund me which it's still pending. Definitely not contacting this company for future events. read more

I was planning my little girls 2nd birthday party, and thought a surprise visit from Elmo would make it extra special for her. I reached out to a few different companies, and Nicole was the first to get back to me, and sent the most detailed information. Her responses were timely from beginning to end. The performer (Nick) was punctual, courteous, and extremely professional. He was so patient and pleasant with everyone, and even danced with my daughter! She was over the moon! The costume was in pristine condition, and Nick was even amazing at face painting! We will absolutely use celebration sensation for our future parties as will our friends! read more

We threw an 8th birthday party for my niece. It was princess themed so we had Cinderella come out from Celebration Sensation. Her name was Christina, she was such a pleasure and made the birthday party that much more memorable! She did face painting and story time. The biggest hit was her singing, before she left my niece asked her to sing one more song, she had a beautiful voice. Very professional and timely. I will definitely use Celebration Sensation again. No stars for these people. I booked and paid for a singing telegram and recieved a nice message saying confirmed. 2.5 hours before the character actor was to appear at our law firm i get a MESSAGE not the courtesy of a phone call with a live person especially with what she was about to say: 'oh just got your message you booked. Sorry i dont have anyone who can come all the way out here and pick up the police uniform. So sorry. Ill see if i can get your deposit back and if rhere is anyone else you want to book please do so.' There may have been an apology i really dont know. Point is when i suggested that she should be the one trying to right this wrong not me. Then she told me i should have calles to see if ahe available before paying. Oh so now i get it....your faux pas is now mine! I never heard from her again and i had to call Gig salad to get the refund which was applied with lightening speed. And to help me out gig salad made some calls and in 20 minutes problem solved. I had a great vendor bend over backwards and she kept in contact with our office the entire time. This creation sensation proudly boasts about their 5 star rating. NOT NO MORE SISTAH. you need to learn how to work under pressure. You should have put that costume on and played the role yourself read more

We hired Patrick for our twin boy's 5th birthday party. He was extremely professional and entertained the whole group of kids AND ADULTS. He was funny, professional, and patient with the kids. His balloon work was great as was his unicycle act! Highly recommend him for parties! Thank you Patrick! I looked all over for a jack skellington and was pleasantly surprised when I came across this company. When jack skellington arrived at my 4 year old son's bday party, he completely brightened up the party. He was so good with all the children (ranging from 2-5 years old, about 20 kids). Jack played very age appropriate games and performed a wonderful magic show which kept all the kids entertained. The performer was a highly skilled entertainer and we were VERY pleased with him and this company. I will DEFINITELY use them in the future. I am so grateful I found this wonderful company. I hired Fantastick Patrick two days before a giant event at our temple. His show was great and he did a wonderful job working a large crowd in an informal some what chaotic environment and helped us to plug some of our own fundraisers. I was planning my nephew's birthday party from SF. Initially, there wasn't a budget around the entertainment piece. Shannan was very helpful with the information. I rec'd follow up calls and emails in a timely manner. Granted I was planning on spending around $800 for all sorts of stuff, so I'm sure they really wanted my business or so I thought. I found out that the budget for entertainment had been cut significantly. So instead of having basically a carnival for the party, I was limited to hiring just the trackless train. I emailed and called Shannon to find out what the rates would be for just the train and got nothing in response. Whenever I called, all I got was the answering machine (ugh!) and when I emailed there was no response. I guess since I wasn't spending $800, it wasn't worth their time. Needless to say, I found Bruce from Trainsonthemove.com. The rates were reasonable. No deposit was needed and there wasn't a weather cancellation policy. He arrived on time and was professional and courteous. I would have booked with Celebration Sensation, but it just seemed like they only want to deal with big budgets. read more

Highly recommended. The company overall was very professional and courteous with good communications. We hired Patrick for our superbowl party (60 adults, 15 kids ages 2-6). I didn't really know what to expect having never done something like this, but he was beyond anything I expected. First off, his balloons were a huge hit and the best I've seen-- all the adults were impressed, and my 2-year-old is still carrying around her balloon ladybug which she loves. Secondly, he somehow managed to gather all the kids together (a task I thought completely impossible) and they were 100% enthralled with his show. It was worth every penny to have all the kids occupied for a time so that the adults could relax. Thanks, Patrick! read more

We hired Patrick for our son's 2nd birthday party. We had checked out another balloon twister before contacting Celebration Sensation, but had found that guy off-putting and a bit too patronizing. We requested Patrick based on the other good Yelp review and are very pleased we did. Patrick was on time, professional, personable, and most importantly, entertaining! We weren't sure how the 1.5-3 year olds at the party would receive him, but he did a great job interacting with all of the kids, including the shy ones. My son loved the balloon creations and the adults enjoyed Patrick's other tricks (he balanced a Kingsley Bates - read HEAVY - teak chair in his mouth!). His attire was fun without resorting to a scary crazy clowny get up. Patrick had a kind vibe, which was appreciated by the parents and kids alike. The ladies in the booking office were also professional and helpful. They confirmed the booking before the party and followed up after to ask if the party was a success. I would recommend Patrick specifically, and Celebration Sensation in general to all. read more

We had Bat Girl (real name Chrissie) come to my daughter's 5th bday party this past Saturday (2/18), and she was nothing short of AMAZING!!!! She was immediately very engaging with the kids, made them feel at ease (even giving them hugs and playing ring-around-the-roses at my daughter's request before getting into the superhero stuff!). The kids had a fabulous time and not only did she look the part, but she was full of fun and really got the children excited (I've seen some TERRIBLE characters at children's parties and was praying this would not be the case this time)---it wasn't! She is well worth the money and I can see why Celebration Sensation has such high marks! I will be using them for her next birthday, that's for sure! Goooooo BatGirl! :+) read more

I've never bothered leaving a review before but I just had to for this. I attended a Christmas party with a Santa. I thought he was an inebriated friend of the host who dressed up for fun. He was a young thin man with black facial hair. The beard was pulled down to reveal his black mustache. He had a pillow in his shirt and you could see its corners and the belt where it was tied on. Weird scarf, dirty old costume, and the man sat in a chair and didn't move the whole time - thought he was as. When I approached him to take a photo (for the sole purpose of sharing the horrible appearance with others at home) he asked me if I had been a naughty lady that year. Luckily this was an adult party so we all just laughed, but had it been a child's event, dreams would be shattered. He had no Santa voice or persona and looked like something out of a Hangover movie. I can't believe money was paid for him. Horrific. I've heard this company shows photos that aren't of what they truly send. Do not recommend. read more

Horrible experience with this company. Hired a face painter, ballon twister, and a Ninga Turtle character for my sons birthday and I was extremely disappointed. The Ninga Turtle Character showed up with an old turtle costume. But not only was it old it was dirty and torn in many places. They emailed me a picture of a completely different turtle that supposably was coming. And to add to this emberrasment the face painter refused to do full face painting and only did painting on one cheek or on the arm. The girl seemed to not know what she was doing i wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't a real face painter because her work was so basic I could of done the work myself. The kids were so disappointed that they couldn't get full face painting. Do yourself a favor and stay away!! read more
