I then was checked in and showed up to my room. Upon entering I see the furniture was in extremely bad condition. The walls had stains on them. I don't trust the towels to be clean there after I was greeted to see a toilet seat with crusty dried urine on there. Not pleasant! And what a wonderful light fixture that was installed on the ceiling that was full of DEAD BUGS! IT WAS AWFUL! DO NOT STAY HERE! SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! We stayed in 924 which was very nice! Good communication with the host. Beach themed decor and balcony seating was a plus with beach toys/chairs/towels.. Beautiful views of the water and pool area. Pools nice clean with plenty of lounge chairs. Close to stores and restaurants, beach directly across the street. There is a nice comfy king size bed, full size appliances and full size W/D a definite plus:) Will definitely recommend and rent here again when visiting the area.

Front office was rude and made no sense why they refused the refund when I had to check out due to the condo not being ready I think they are unethical How can you charge someone for service when I had to vacate the property. Do not rent an Airbnb at this location Checked into TRU Hilton for same price with room with gulf view, awesome breakfast, clean room, gym, and great shampoo Don't stay at The Dawn awful place and property management.

I had the hardest time find a hotel that would accept fema. All the hotels they listed did not accept it. Last minute at another place they canceled my reservation but I was already on this side of town. This place said they had space. The room was very clean, bug free. I was a little concerned when I read the previous review but this is a safe spot and clean. They are still renovating and you can definitely tell, but everything they had done is very nice. We had a fridge and a microwave. I am so thankful to the staff for helping us out during a hard time! If you need a clean place to say near kemah and Seabrook. This is the spot!

The "manager" got upset with us for saying something about it, then asked us to leave! They rent the room by the hour as well and there was an active prostitute on the property. The only reason they are getting one star is because I had to use at least one to make this review. Days Inn on 146 is so clean and nice and only 7.00 more!! They need to burn this place down! PATHETIC!!! Oh... And free porn. Yeah... Please don't bring your children here! It's disgusting!!!

Vintage courtyard style motel with outdoor pool, but the rooms were modernized - the rooms smelled clean, bed sheets and covers stain-free; bathroom spotless; tile floors, hi def TV, ice cold a/c, safe locale, and an eclectic "jack of all trades" diner/ restaurant on premises: basic Chinese food, sushi, pizza and burgers. Since we were on a beach weekend getaway, we did not avail ourselves of the pool but it was sparkling clean. The wonderful family that owns the location is warm, friendly, and attentive. We are definitely going to visit again for our next beach vacay getaway - we are already planning it and so glad we found this place! 谢谢 Phil & Deborah Goldstein

Broken bikes, toys, appliances, dirty shoes and toys, grills, junk, trash stacked around everywhere. Laundry room is beyond filthy. There is no maid service, so don't expect fresh towels or emptied trash cans. I had to go ask for towels. The owner yelled at his son to get me towels. The son protested loudly. The owner yelled at me "follow him". The "restaurant" is a health hazard. Windows look like they were last cleaned in the 1900's. The room was tolerable but the bathroom was awful. Peeling paint in the bathtub/shower. Broken light fixtures. The floor was covered with sand and had obviously not been swept or mopped. You are better off sleeping in a tent on the beach. It's not worth $20 a night ... much less $130.

I had wine and wings and ignored the dirty room non working lights and no door handle on the door to the leaking bathroom. One was the "ash" that was in actuality, dirt on the floor. I do smoke but there was a door to the outside right next to my room so I used the stairs. The only thing I did was throw my empty pack in the trash. They saw that and just tacked on the charge knowing they are the only ones I could complain to.
