Happy hour
Yesenia E.

Happy hour menu is AMAZING! the sushi is so fresh and delicious. Drinks are strong, delicious and cheap ($5 for a margarita) And the customer service is great. Our server took care of us. And the music is upbeat

We recently visited Hanzō for my sons birthday and it was a interesting experience. The service and food was delicious as always with the exception of my soup being held back for a while. THE FRUIT FLY PROBLEM MUST BE SLOVED. they are swimming in almost all my drinks please fix this problem and everything will be perfect

Made a quick decision to have lunch here and we were seating immediately which was nice for being Sunday. Service was very fast food came out within 10 minutes and our server was great at checking up on us and giving portions of anything we asked for at a respectable amount which was really nice. Ordered off the happy hour menu they have from 2pm-6pm which included the maclay roll. Taste was amazing would recommend to others to enjoy their happy hour.

Great food, good drinks, and casual environment! You have to try the salmon lemon, papa Juan, and the albacore crispy onion rolls! They are so refreshing and citrusy! Friendly servers and hostesses as well! Great spot to check out if you're in the area and crazing sushi!

This place was a little hard to find! Tucked into the back corner of a small shopping plaza. Parking was scarce but we found one around back. Walking in it was empty except for 2 people but we were greeted and took a seat at the sushi counter. They have a happy hour menu posted on the wall, but we ordered off of the regular menu. I was pleasantly surprised to see that their pricing is pretty on par with most other SoCal sushi places. Some things were cheaper and some more expensive. Everything came out quickly and tasted very fresh. The Gyoza was extremely hot and didn't taste like it was pre fried and set under a heater. The citrus ponzu they served it with was also really nice. Both of the waitresses were very nice, and attentive! The sushi chef handed us our sushi directly from the counter! We will definitely be back again when we are in the area!

We love Hanzo. The staff, especially Aliah, are nice, attentive, and welcoming. My family and I dine at Hanzo at least once a month. Our favorite is the Salmon Flower sashimi and the salmon skin hand rolls. Hanzo also has a great happy hour Mon-Fri (maybe Thursday) from 3pm - 6pm.

Great rolls but fusion.

I'll start by saying the place is really nice and the staff were friendly. I can't say I totally enjoyed the food but it wasn't bad by any means. It's not your authentic style Japanese sushi it's more fusion if anything. I ordered the Hamachi Kama and unfortunately it's the least tastiest I've had. For some reason the word Hamachi was getting confused so if that's what you want ask for the yellow tail. I was trying to order Hamachi sashimi and it took me telling them yellow tail sashimi to finally get the order in after having 2 waitresses ask what I was asking for which is no big deal although I feel that's something to know working at a sushi restaurant. The servers were nice and polite but were definitely off their game because we didn't get many things we ordered until halfway through our meal and drinks having to ask for multiple things that were initially ordered. I found it odd that they asked if we wanted wasabi and ginger? Isn't that automatic? There were other issues but I'll end with saying the place itself is beautiful and the aesthetics were vibrant, just an off night I'm hoping as a first timer.

Parking is sometimes hard to find but once you go in there's not usually a wait. Staff is friendly and attentive, but a little disorganized. The food itself is always fresh and the portions for the sushi rolls are perfect so you can always fit the whole thing in your mouth easily (LOL) without it falling apart. Third time here and their food is always consistently good. Also they have a LOT of options for different and fun sushi rolls with unique flavors.

This establishment needs to be hyped up more . We finally decided to give it a try thanks to my mom friend Wendy . I had 2 cocktails of (let-that-man-go ) it was delicious not sweet at all perfect for me . My mom and I ordered 3 rolls the cucumber yellowtail rose , Baja fuego with added jalapeños in it and a honzo roll . Just typing it and remembering how tasty and fresh it was is making my mouth water again . I definitely need to go back . They have a nice outdoor seating area along with seating near the sushi chefs and seating at the bar . Parking is not the best but definitely many places you can park at . Luckily we live close so now we know we can walk there . The service was amazing thanks to Franky he is up and down taking care of a lot but he has it on lock and I loved that. Great conversations along with the people sitting at the bar . We will definitely be coming back here again . Thank you

We were greeted right away and seated quickly. It was surprisingly busy for a Thursday night after 9 pm, but after trying the food and experiencing the great customer service, I can see why. They offer all you can eat options, but we decided to order a few items instead so we could try things at our own pace. From the outside it does not look very big, but inside there are plenty of tables along with a small bar area with a few stools. We each tried a roll, and both were well made and fresh. The Fire Kiss roll had a nice balance of heat and flavor without being overwhelming, and the texture was on point. The salmon sashimi was fresh and clean tasting, although the slices were a bit thinner than what I have had at other spots. Overall, the quality, flavor, and service made it a solid late night option. I would come back to try more of their specialty rolls and possibly go for the all you can eat option next time.

He suggested the Raspberry Lemon Drop and the Matcha Martini, and both were amazing not too sweet, not too strong, just perfect. Food was just as good. To start off none of the employees are the same as the first time I went (first red flag). I was not greeted upon entrance because there were no employees in the front. I wonder why they can't hold on to people (probably not a healthy work environment to work at). Second of all, I went to this location with a friend who has a dangerous allergy to nuts. When we asked if the sesame seed dressing on the salad in her bento box had any nuts, our server didn't know and had to find someone for answers. This clearly shows lack of training. Floor manager is now one of their old chefs who clearly struggles to remain professional. On my visit, I also saw the owner, Raul bad mouthing a couple of girls that when in. Literally talking crap behind their back with one of his friends at the bar, once they left. Almost as if they don't want their business. We didn't leave because it was too late and we were hungry, but we'll definitely not be coming back. If you want a good sushi place, try Razo. I always feel welcomed there and it seems like they can remain professional there and like they want my business. I don't see this place lasting very long with such shitty attitude from the owners.

Safe to say... our sushi craving paid off. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted right away -- always a great sign when you're about to eat raw fish. The ambiance is modern and sleek, with dark wood tables and TVs throughout, giving it a clean but relaxed vibe. Service was fair overall. Our waitress was friendly, just not quite as attentive as we typically expect at a sushi spot. Nothing terrible -- just noticeable. Now let's talk about what matters: the food. We ordered three rolls: Hot Night (tempura roll) - Shrimp tempura with spicy tuna inside, served with spicy mayo and eel sauce on the side. Absolute banger. The sauces added the perfect touch without overpowering the roll. Orange Roll - Salmon on top with spicy crab inside. We don't usually go for spicy crab, but this one changed our minds. The salmon tasted fresh and clean, and the crab mix wasn't drowned in mayo -- huge plus. Hush Roll - Spicy tuna inside, topped with shrimp and albacore, finished with ponzu. This might've been my favorite. Super fresh, balanced, and flavorful. The slightly sweet shrimp paired perfectly with the albacore and ponzu. If you could've seen my face after that first bite... pure joy. Quality-wise, the fish was on point. Everything tasted fresh, and the combinations worked really well together. Now for the only downside -- price. Each roll was $17, so about $55 after tax for three rolls. Considering spicy tuna and crab aren't premium ingredients, it did feel slightly overpriced. That said, the quality was there. Is it the most mind-blowing sushi I've ever had? No. Was it delicious and satisfying? Absolutely. Will it replace our favorite spot? Probably not. Will we be back when we need a solid FFF (Fresh Fish Fix)? 100%. If you're craving quality sushi with a modern vibe, Sushi Raw delivers.
