Try to avoid Sandy Tang. She's unskilled in presenting and representing you in your search for a home. Extremely difficult to get her to answer her phone. Extremely difficult to have her answer a text. We were downsizing from a 11 year, $3800 per month house to a simple $2750 per month house. We had a 771 credit score, 11,000 per month income, $40,000 cash in the bank, no debt. We were in a time table to get a place. We had letters of reference from previous landlords. We don't smoke or drink. We submitted Everything and Sandy simply went GHOST on us. No return call, no update, No return text, no nothing. Finally after a few days she texted that "the owner declined" . No reason and she told us (finally) that she didn't ask. What lack of professionalism is that...? Move on. read more

Having worked with many realtors over the years, I have high expectations when hiring one to handle such a large transaction. The Moon Team interviewed well and made lofty promises. Our experience was okay, but we felt as if they overpromised and under delivered. First, let me say that we had a quick sale and smooth escrow that closed on time. However, I would attribute much of that to our quick attention to everything that needed to be tended to, as well as their escrow officer, Karen Bruno who was exceptional! Upon initial interview with Jeff and Connie, they came well prepared and promised to be 150% realtors. We were initially quoted a proposed sales price and they went so far as to send us a sample net sheet based on that price. 2 weeks later when we scheduled a listing appointment, the price they suggested was $130,000 lower. Connie went so far as to state that one of our bathrooms was "horrible" and displayed very poor communication skills, several times flat out insulting us. After that meeting we chose to do some renovations prior to listing the home. We did end up hiring The Moon Team as it was my moms wish prior to her passing based on our initial appointment. Over the course of the short time our home was on the market, we felt as if communication was poor, and often adversarial. Jeff did come to help with some work on the home, stating that he had those skills, yet when he was there, broke our equipment (which he did have repaired). Other issues we experienced included them losing our paperwork and neglecting to schedule the termite tenting after they had agreed to do so. This led to a very uncomfortable time at our signing appointment as Jeff was unaware as to when the home would be tented and they had to pull some strings to get it done so we could close on time. Connie later stated that she had planned to schedule it after our signing appointment, but clearly hadn't communicated that with us or Jeff because we were all clueless at the signing table. Certainly does not instill confidence in your realtors when you are that close to your closing date. Additionally, we found them to not offer some of the more current offerings that other realtors utilize such as virtual tours. However, they did provide a nice brochure and did open houses as requested. Overall, we felt as if it was "their way or the highway". When they sent us the listing, I made a suggestion on some changes, they again were adversarial stating that "nearly all agents do it that way". Yet in looking at the other listings in their own office and consulting other agents with other companies, none of their listings were written in that manner. Not sure who "nearly all agents" would be? To sum it up, we are pleased with the fact that we sold quickly with a quick closing and backup offer. However, can not recommend The Moon Team, and will not be using them for the three upcoming home sales we have. read more

Just a fair warning. DO NOT pick Sandy Tang (lic# 02031579) as your agent. She's seems very young and amateur in the real estate business. Called her several times and left her voicemails to schedule for a showing on one of her listings in Irvine. She doesn't call back but only texted us back. On the day of the showing, she arrives 20 minutes late but that's not the worst. She scheduled 3-4 other families at the same time to see the house. They were lining up outside waiting to tour the house. Especially during the pandemic, this is unacceptable, unsafe, and dangerous. One of the worst experience I had with Hanu Reddy Realty, Chennai. They dragged my property not to sell to anyone and holded for a year. They are not allow other brokers or real estate people to involve the property once they have it. Simply they increase the price of the property upto 40% to 60%, then hold for long time atlast they will say the market rate is not good now. Then they will sell our property to 30% to 50% lesser market value. Its waste of our money and time. I faced my experience which they did for my Tambaram Santorium property.
