I actually left the store and returned when I realized that I hadn't received that discount. Alas, I was told by two young saleswomen that the wine I selected was not eligible for that promotion, "only wines whose prices end in .99" (I kid you not). They asked if I wanted to return the entire order and go pick different wine that would be eligible. By that time, I was NOT happy and I managed to get out the door while maintaining my calm cool composure (LOL). Basically, if they can put a Hatch chile in it, they will. We bought a few things to take home and try later, but we also grabbed an Asian chicken wrap with sweet potato fries from the cafe.
