Good place was bough-out by rubes. Cheapest ingredients and shortcuts. Might use dog and cat? These are not good people. Once came to my house and threatened me when I said two different pizzas were the same. Run fingers through both pizzas and left. I paid full price! Running grubby hands through was free? These are bad people and instead of getting sick we fed pizza to our dogs. Be careful and be safe. read more

Hansen's Classic Pizza - a pizza in a box - Pizza Near Me - Kelowna, British Columbia

The pizza here at Hansen's is amazing. The portions are huge and the pizza is absolutely delicious. Definitely would recommend them!

First pizza place I tried in Kelowna, and it'll probably be my most frequent now. It was excellent pizza and the staff were super nice!

Wow I had such a pleasant experience here just chatting with the chef about their 10 year anniversary comin up! What a nice thing to see a business like this serving the community with pride and happiness. The pizza by the slice ($3 or $4 with a pop) came out of the oven fresh and DELICIOUS. I like the crust a lot, and the sauce starts sweet and has that right tang to the finish. Generous with the cheese and toppings. The Greek was bomb and the Hawaiian is totally doin it for me. I'm definitely coming back here next time I'm in town. read more

Okay you don't see many spots with a 5 star rating...so was in town, looking for some zaa I had to try it... Carnivore was the choice - "Eats Vegans for breakfast!" is an understatement... I'm accustomed to Meat Lovers with sparse amounts of each kind of meat, not the case here. Lots of everything - was very good, but almost too much..won't be my next choice, next time I'll be trying another specialty pizza, the key here is 'next time', this place is worthy of a few visits for sure PS Tomato sauce was tasty, and grab a homemade pesto dip !! Had delivery - friendly and exactly as promised 45 minutes to the Delta read more

This pizza is the truth! Definitely the best pizza by far that I have had in the Okanagan, and a serious contender for best pizza of all time. Chef Mark seems to run the whole place, and he always has a great comment on every pizza you order. Do yourself a serious favor, order the chicken pesto, it will change your life! read more

I went in and ordered a hawiian pizza, best pizza ive ever eatin! The young girl at the front counter was incredibly friendly and got me my pizza within a minute! great service! read more

Chef Mark is the bomb!! As is the whole team. He definitely runs the show and what a fantastic show it is! I review this place on every possible platform I can because I want everyone to know how GREAT this pizza place is. I always find myself having a wonderful conversation with Mark when I come in - and the amount of times I come in, he already knows mine and my boyfriend's name! My boyfriend orders the same thing every time: carnivore pizza w/chipotle dipping sauce. I tend to change my mind - occasionally switching from the chicken pesto pizza (YUM) to the margherita pizza (which is Chef Mark's fave) and the butter chicken pizza. All of the toppings are fresh and cooked to perfection. Their homemade pesto is fabulous as is the creativity that Mark puts into his pizza. Chef Mark seems to really care about what goes into his pizzas and into people's mouths. High quality ingredients, fantastic atmosphere, reasonable prices, nice staff and original pizza flavours - there is something for everyone here... Can't wait for your pulled pork pizza to come out Mark! read more

This is my favorite pizza in Kelowna. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Their pizza is absolutely delicious.

Best pizza in town by far. The surf & turf is my go to and never disappoints me. Friendly staff also! read more

Without any doubt the best pizza I have ever had. Perfection. Could not be improved on, and the prices are great too. I want to respond to the person who complained about Hansen's not delivering to Gallaghers Canyon. I live in the same area as the complainer, and it would be a round trip driving of minimum 30 minutes to deliver to my neighborhood, that is a long time to have a driver deliver one pizza for one customer for $20 or so. Get over yourself princess. read more

Pretty impressed by the pizza, thanks to the yelpers for their reviews! We ordered the pesto, which they say they don't usually do but they really should. It is drizzled on top, just the way i like it. I don't like it when its mixed into the tomato sauce because i can never taste it then. The caramelized onions where delicious but there was a bit to much. Great cheese, and crust. I ate left over the next day and it may have even tasted better. read more

Ordered a few pizzas from here for pick-up. Pizzas were ready on time and very tasty. The vegetarian pizza made with pesto was particularly notable. However do NOT order the Cinnamon buns for desert - they were bland and tasteless - disappointing. Overall an excellent choice for pizza but skip the desert options! read more

Mmmmmmmmm...... Enough said! The chicken pesto is amazing, it has caramelized oinons to die for! My Daughter loves it and the vegetarian. She likes that it has broccoli and Cauliflower. read more

We ordered a Bulldog and a cheese pizza with extra cheese, they were both really good. The bulldog was extremely spicey and delicious. The cheese pizza oozed with cheesey goodness, they definitely did not skimp on the cheese. Terrific pizza! read more

The pizza here is excellent. Generous amounts of cheese. Great flavours. New favourite!

Had delivery and it was pretty good. Crust is great and the toppings were well balanced for the pizza. Would definately get pizza here again. read more

Awesome!!!! loaded with fresh toppings and very delicious combinations. Great veggie options. Finally a place understands that veggie pizza is more then peppers and mushrooms. Not greasy read more

Unreal pizza. Don't even bother going anywhere else. Will drive from Glenmore 20 minutes to get a slice of the Big Kahuna. Won't bother with Papa John's, Mr. Mozzarella, or any other 2nd class pizza places. Untouchable. Do yourself a favor and order Hansen's. read more

Tasty thin slice, not stingy with the cheese. Decent delivery time on a Saturday night, with pleasant service. Do not recommend the Caesar salad, though - however, if you're not picky and you're just looking for a simple classic side, the small size combined with a medium pizza is plenty for two people. read more

Excellent gluten free pizza! I haven't had a pizza this delicious since I had to go gluten free. The pizza was loaded with toppings, the crust was cooked perfectly and there was no shortage of cheese. This will be a regular stop for me whenever I'm in Kelowna . read more

THE BEST. Period. Excellent customer service and ownership. I have never had pizza as consistently good as this before. My dad is a regular customer and swears by this pizza! You will not go wrong! The pesto chicken is to die for. There is not a better pizza place in this town. Keep up the good work! read more

Hansen's is, by far, the best pizza in Kelowna! Love their carnivore, chicken pesto, and big Kahuna. Yum!!

So Disappointed!! Ever since Hansen's opened we always got our pizza from them. We know we could always trust their good service and great pizza. At one point we lived in Gallaghers Canyon and even though we were a ways out of city center, they still delivered. Well that was up until a month ago. I called in our order and they refused to deliver out in Gallaghers. I was ticked right off. We were dependent customers and always raved to others about their pizza. A month later and now living in Glenmore/Magic Estates I thought I would give them another shot. Once again....refused delivery! I am so upset that the company now thinks their big enough to pick and choose their customers. Kelowna is NOT that big! I'm sharing this all over because I even gave them an opportunity on the phone to make this up to me and they chose not to. Good luck with business now and so much for supporting a locally owned company!! Shame on you for LOCATION SHAMING!! read more

I used to get delivery from Hansons but that changed when I stopped in for a pickup order one evening and watched the young helper preparing the orders . His finger nails were overgrown by at least half an inch and were black with filth , he also had an open wound on one finger , it was uncovered and crusted with blood and food residue and god knows what else . Absolutely revolting . I would never put my health in their hands again . But on the other hand , if you are getting delivery , you wouldnt know the difference and would think you are just getting a fine quality pizza . read more

Excellent pizza!!! Just be warned put money in their toy dispenser and it ate it! I said something to guy to guy that was working and he shrugged nonchalantly that he had nothing to do with those they were dropped off for charity. read more

This is hands-down some of the best pizza I've had ANYWHERE in the world. Deliciously fresh, perfect chewy deep dish crust, overloaded with unique combinations of toppings. Too bad I live in Vancouver! read more

We were visiting with friends and had take-out pizza. We chose the Classic and the Zen and they were both delicious. We thought we needed 2 large pizzas for 5 of us but the toppings are so generous that the ladies had only 2 pieces each and the guys 3. Great VALUE! Great taste. Will order again the next time we're in Kelowna. read more

Would have to say that all the glowing reviews here on Yelp are absolutely correct. Fantastic pie.

When we moved into the mission area this was the only place we saw. We soon found others but never did try them because there was no need. Marc and his crew make the best pizza in Kelowna. Period. Try any of them on thin crust. You won't be disappointed. We have tried most of them and have never been disappointed read more

I enjoy a nice slice of pizza every now and then but to tell the truth it's not what I would call my favorite food. However one night while visiting Kelowna, BC on a business trip, we came across Hansen's Classic Pizza and was I ever impressed. This little pizza joint is take out only and when we arrived we kicked ourselves for not calling in our order ahead of time. The line up was out the door and for good reason. I was in the mood for a Margharita Pizza and no where have I tasted such yummy goodness. The thin crust was absolutely perfect and smelled like pure heaven. They used fresh soft mozzarella cheese which was melted in discs to perfection. The sauce had to have been made from tomatoes that were just picked from the garden that morning. I am salivating just thinking about it. Fresh basil and creamy roasted garlic cloves adorned the top. My hubby (a pepperoni pizza afficianado) went nutso over his choice of Pepperoni and Mushroom and we both swear to make this a regular stop the next time we visit from Vancouver. Another cool aspect was that the owner himself was right in there with the rest of the staff personally making the pizzas. read more

I was in Kelowna this past June for my sons lacrosse tournament. We ordered 6 large pizzas to feed some of the kids and parents hanging out at the motel that evening. Coach picked Hansens because of the good Yelp rating, and it being close for delivery. Pizza arrived, and the kids and parents started eating. I wasn't eating much then, due to a recent surgery that left stitches in my mouth. I was watching everyone eat, looking at that great pizza, and taking in its great aroma. Then one of the parents, who is a longtime fireman, started eating it. He declared it to be some of the best pizza he has ever eaten in recent years, or ever. I know fireman typically eat good at the hall, but they also eat lots and lots of take out and pizza. I couldn't take it anymore. Being a bit of a pizza connoisseur, I had to try some. We had nothing really exotic in the way of pies, mostly because it was for the kids, so I grabbed myself a piece of pepperoni to start. Also tried Hawaiian, and some kind of a meat lovers.Toppings were fresh, good amounts, and the crust was great, it had that doughy taste, but was a bit on the crispy side, but not crunchy crispy. Usually doughy tasting crust equates with soft, bread like crust, not crispy like this. It was perfect! All around a really consistent pizza. Everyone that ate some, thoroughly enjoyed it, and yes, I agree with the fireman, this was some of the best pizza I've had in years, and ever. I would highly recommend! read more
