I recently used this service to ship my car from Vancouver to Ottawa. It was my first time doing…read moresomething like this, so I researched and received quotes from similar companies who also did car shipment. Most were by train, and their quotes were about $300-500 less, but the thing about transportation by train is they won't allow you to store anything in the car during shipment, other than car seats and tires. Since I had other belongings to transport, this would save me money and time overall (as well as convenience). The quote I received was honoured, I paid just under $2100. They allow 150 lbs of items in the car, which is plenty (I weighed everything). You can't put anything in the front seats and there has to be enough room for the front seats to be pushed all the way back as well. This was not an issue for me because I have a hatchback with plenty of storage space, but I see how this could be difficult to maximize if you had a sedan or coupe. You have to ask for this, but I was able to pay them half prior to drop off and the second half of the payment a day or two prior to expected delivery. I chose e-transfer to avoid the additional fee for payments by credit card. They estimated that it would take 7-14 days to arrive, which was fine, because I had kind of put off this until last minute. They ended up taking only 7 days, which worked perfectly for me. Drop off was in Richmond. One thing is that they wanted my car to be dropped off by Wednesday, but they did not end up picking up the car until Friday. I wish they had given a better estimate of when they'd require my car, so I could use my car for 2 more days and not have to rush to pack everything. But I get that shipment schedules don't always go as planned, and they wanted the car ready for pickup when they got there. Note that if you want a residential delivery, there is a $200 extra surcharge. You will have to coordinate somewhere in the city (a commercial location) for drop off in Ottawa, because they don't have a terminal there. Prior to booking, I did most of the correspondence via email. Kim responded quickly, answering all my questions. I found that after I had paid half, booked, I would get a less timely response to emails, or none at all. When I called during regular business hours, selecting various options, it went to voicemail. This was after I had fully paid. It was like when they needed me to pay, they'd reach out right away, but after that, it felt like my emails were less important. Also, once I was called "Samantha" in the email which was confusing. However, wasn't a big deal because I got the information in the end. Otherwise, overall, I would recommend this service. I'm very happy with the speed they delivered my car. Not only did they get my car over faster than a train would have, I was also able to move all my belongings as well. I'd definitely use their service again.

They don't answer the phone or respond to phone messages or emails for over 2 weeks now. Nothing. I don't even know if they're still in business. I'll be calling police on Friday. Unprofessional, terrible customer service. I moved with him twice because he is cheaper that…read moreothers, but a lot of stress, you'd better choose another option. First time he moved my studio + myself from Vancouver to Halifax. We took turns driving, but mostly I drove. Pour time management, we made only 2 night stops, at the end I had a nervous breakdown and ended and the mental hospital. It's impossible to negotiate anything (night stops, meal stops etc). At some pick up/drop off points we appeared at 1am, 3am, 5am Mark Hubley drives really dangerous. He doesn't care about your stuff. In Manitoba one on the trailer tire exploded, and he doesn't have a spare tire. He had to pick a ride share from Winnipeg to Montreal, but at the last moment he changed his mind and ask way higher price than what they agreed originally. This ride share didn't happen. I had to move back from Nova Scotia to Vancouver Aug 2021. This time I sent my stuff only. It took Mark almost 2 month to deliver it. And still he forgot some of the stuff although everything was labeled with my name. A week later he delivered second portion, but my bikes still were not delivered. Finally in May 2022 he tried to deliver my 2 bikes, at the end he texted that they were stolen and he left me some random used bicycle in poor condition, I was really frustrated. No compensation, he doesn't answer my text and calls. I assume he put my bikes in the back of his track without lockers, same as he did it on my way from Vancouver to Halifax, but then I locked them.

I moved from Ontario to Alberta and I called West Coast movers for the move of my whole house…read morefurniture and stuff. The movers came on time, very professional and friendly. My stuff was safely arrived on time and the movers off load all the stuff, few fragile items broke but that's understandable. Over all I like their service and I highly recommend them to anyone.
