What happened was i had called them from the side of deerfoot at 13:18 to get a quote for price and time of towing, they had stated 45 minutes, and a "service call" fee on top of hookup+km fee. with other companies i have only paid for hookup and km but i figured the speed would be worth the fee as i had to be at work. At 13:51 I get a call from the company telling me there's a tow truck driver with more more jobs before mine, but i can agree to 40$ more on the "service call" to become his #1 priority, as i am stuck on deerfoot and have already waited (where i could have been waiting for another company) i decided to do it, if it would get me to safety faster. I call them at 14:18, 14:55, and 15:39 for and eta, they are unable to give one At 15:50 the driver shows up slightly damages my vehicle due to minor negligence (which can be expected during a tow) The driver then proceeds to text while driving the entire way to my destination, on deerfoot, on two phones (pictures included)

(I had to pay 2 months upfront because I'm new to Alberta). I drove around for several weeks without insurance without knowing it. They claimed they sent a registered letter, which I never recieved. They did not call or email. When I went to their offices, they told me I didn't have insurance anymore and it could not be reinstated because it had been several weeks since it was cancelled for non payment. Then when I went to get my insurance again they said I had to pay the 2 months upfront again, they said I once again had to pay 2 months upfront, and my rate was more going to be $40 MORE PER MONTH. They also said it would take 3 weeks to "fix". No compensation or anything was offered for their mistake that caused a very dangerous situation, not to mention I have a disability and need a car to get to do everything since walking us difficult.
