The customer service is what made this a 5 Star experience for me, the room and equipment was ready when we got there. Only downside to this location is the amount of parking in front of the business. But there is parking across the street at the Kapolei shopping center. So you could drop your party and food off then park across the street. The restrooms were clean. What we also liked was that we were able to plan our get together on the website. So, plan ahead for both your party and Kapolei Karaoke to make it a 5 Star experience. I do highly recommend Kapolei Karaoke and Escape Room for your next party or get together. We'll be back!

This venue has been a mainstay at Leeward Community College for years and the first time I've come here since I was a student back in the day. There's plenty of parking right in front of the theater. To get to the theater there is a huge staircase to walk down or the other option is an elevator in the next building over to the left of the theater, if you're facing the theater. There are signs with arrows and easy enough to find but it is a bit of a walk because you're walking almost the full length of the other building and once you're downstairs, then need to walk the same length back to the entrance. For kupuna with arthritis issues, this can be quite the challenge. The theater lobby has a beautiful painted mural upon entering. To get to you seat, once again, everything's stairs up, then down. Women's restroom, down a short flight of stairs. The knees were practically screaming from all the stairs. The theater seats are nicely laid out and space between each row is good where one can comfortably walk to your seat without having to squeeze thru. Both times I went, we had good seats. The first time was in G12/G13, about midway and the 2nd time was seats C30/31 closer, left stage. The theater does get cold as the performance progresses so good idea to bring a jacket/sweater. The play itself was great! There was a cast of about 30, some were students and some actors with previous experience. It was a good play for the whole family with the happy musical numbers, actor interaction with the audience, and comedy. Add to the fact it was done local style with pidgin. The only problem we had was you couldn't hear a lot of the cast members no matter which seat you were at because not all of them were wearing microphones. The main characters were but some of the supporting cast that had speaking lines, you couldn't hear at all. This made it very frustrating to hear the play. I had mentioned it to the gal at the box office when I went the 2nd time. Especially at the start of the play when the bufo were speaking to the audience. I couldn't hear them at row G. Row C was better but not by much. I can only imagine folks in the seats further up couldn't hear anything at all. Overall, enjoyable play. The LCC theater is a beautiful venue with the layout of the seats. The drawbacks are too many stairs to get to your seat and hard to hear this wonderful performance.

There are 2 physical locations - Pearlridge and Windward Mall. My child's birthday was coming up, so I booked BOTH locations for a "Stay and Play" session. You can either call or book online for a session. A "Stay and Play" session starts off with choosing a costume. There are many options to choose from - unicorn, princess, mermaid, cheerleader, etc. After changing, your child is whisked off for a makeover which includes nail painting and face painting. How fun! Kids can have a little tea party with the Storybook staff (who are also dressed up), dance to the music, and/or have a photoshoot with the props. Although both locations have different props, they are both magical in their own right. I mean, check out my pictures. The colors, the lighting ... everything just adds to the ambiance and makes a very unique and unforgettable experience for the little ones. You won't regret bringing your kid(s) here. We live in Miami, Florida and we contacted Kanekoa for our daughter's destination wedding in Oahu, Hawaii for April 2020. One of the bride's dream was to have a musician played the ukulele during the ceremony. For those brides & grooms looking for a musician for their event he is the one! Unfortunately, a month before her wedding we had to cancel due COVID-19 a global pandemic. I commend his level of professionalism, and commitment during the very difficult decision to cancel our daughter's wedding. We look forward to visiting Oahu in the future and meeting in person our new Hawaiian native friend "Kanekoa"
