I've never done a food tour before and it was absolutely worth it! Not knowing what to expect when…read moreI went into it, I wondered if it was a bit pricey and didn't know how the experience would go. However, my fears soon melted away because Keli with The Wright Adventures knocked it out of the park for us! Old Town Fairfax has many different and unique places to eat. Keli created the perfect experience for us. We stopped at 7 or 8 nearby but unique restaurants who each showcased some of their best food. It was also fun learning about the restaurants and cultures. I now pride myself on knowing the food scene in Old Town and have a long list of favorite places. The portions were large, the food was delicious, and the company was enjoyable. 10 out of 10! I'd go again. Totally worth the money!

Now that my daughter set up my YELP ACCOUNT I can review this hotel…read more My family and I visited Washington DC 4 years ago during winter. During our visit it snowed so much and was very cold. The hotel was marvelous. The rooms were very clean and the service was impeccable. Everyone treated us so nicely and we had nothing to complain about. When we entered the room after a day in the town our rooms were spotless! New soaps and towels. If only every hotel was as detailed as this one. When we plan a trip to DC again we will stay at this hotel! As an older woman I am not as savvy with computers as I should be so this review is very late.

This may have been the smoothest running hotel I've ever stayed in. From valet to checkout,…read moreeverything was seamless and quick. The area is very metropolitan, so the hotel doesn't offer a personal parking garage, though I believe there is one just down the street, maybe a 3-5 minute walk. We checked into the valet, which was relatively swift seeing as though they had a line of cars to check/retrieve. The front desks were all being attended when we arrived, which I find to be rare in itself. Check-in took maybe a few minutes, and most of that was spent letting us know if the various amenities. It was a birthday weekend, so I called ahead to ask about any special things they do. The attendant offered multiple options, and the decor was very cute when we walked into the room (we had the King Suite). The room was also spacious, so we never felt confined or claustrophobic. A couple of nice-to-knows: the Do Not Disturb door setting is a light rather than a hanging card, and there is a water bottle refill station in the ice room. Needless to say, I will be back!

Since it's a newish hotel, things were mostly modern and clean. I loved the deep bathtub!! Had to do two soaks just bc it was so comfy. The little red rubber ducky was a nice touch. The downstairs bar/restaurant is nice. Good service and the food was better than most Archer Hotels'. The only downside is that I couldn't just drive and park there. It's all valet. There's also a Sushi Umi- based out of Herndon and a solid sushi spot run by Koreans. I live two minutes from this hotel so it was a nice staycation.

Our guide was helpful and hilarious! Trolley Pub has a set route and have already arranged with discounts at various bars. We enjoyed all of the places. Our favorite was Don Tito. They had amazing specials including yummy food and shots! The seats are high and we inter-changed seats with each other. I'm not really sure if our peddling really moved the trolley but we had fun pretending it did help! I'd definitely recommend this fun event. People on the streets get a kick out from seeing a bunch of women riding out in the open streets.
