The situation was escalating and while I'm trying to assist in calming everything down, their customers began disrespecting me directly, causing my boyfriend to come to my aide in the front. I felt completely unsafe & disrespected. when I told the owner, he blamed us, lying about everything that happened, painting us as the aggressors. As a woman, I felt disrespected & as a person of color - it's clear the owner is just like they rest of THEM, looking at us as the problem instead of taking accountability for how they got it there. In fact, after speaking to two people, I finally figured out myself while they rambled out about something they knew nothing about. And, whoever I talk to this morning had a little snidiness to his voice.
